The problem with Gohan is that he wasn't consistent. There were times where he did enjoy fighting. On the ship to namek he enjoyed sparring with krillin. When he was training with goku in the chamber he liked the training and time spent with his father. He didn't like fighting when it came to killing and all that on the line
@kadeembest164 I think the problem with that logic is that Gohan was always shown to be an inherently sweet kid that, while he was good at l and sometimes liked sparring, didn't like the field of battle. Fighting was a function to be closer to his dad, mentor piccolo, and the other Z fighters. So when there isn't any threats and even the other z fighters aren't training he is going to be less likely to train. Especially after Cell and Android 16, the later of whom had a profound impact on the personal life choices of both Gohan and Android 17 to pursue conservationism and the study of nature.

Diamond’s question was “Do you guys think that there’s a possibility that some of the devil fruits in the present day that we have seen could possibly have been created by scientists from the ancient kingdom or possibly the World nobles of that time to battle against the ancient kingdom?” Example would be the Rust Rust fruit… what is the giant robot on Egghead made of? Metal right, and it’s hard to belief enough people wished the Rust Rust fruit into existence. What if the Rust Rust fruit is a man made devil fruit produced back in the Void centuries by the scientists of that time.
Ok, here might a good spot to say this. First: Broker absolutely cooked gourmet with this theory, I think Fexr made similar theory a few months back and it stayed in mind ever since. Second: I'd like to expand a little bit on this theory by drawing a parallel with zoan fruits. The base theory is that to turn blade black, one would "lose" their Conqueror's haki to the blade. Which seems to fit Mihawk super well. My addition to this theory would be that turning a blade black would function similarly to awakening a zoan DF. Meaning that it's risk, the blade could "win" and become the conqueror in a way, similar to how a zoan DF user can lose to the DF's will when awakening. So maybe Ryuma turned his blade black without losing his conqueror's haki to it and it's why the blade wasn't "special" when Zoro was wielding it. I still think Mihawk has access to advanced Conqueror's, but only through Yoru. And maybe Zoro could eventually turn his blades black without the blades being the ones wielding his conqueror's haki. This could be way to illustrate Zoro surpassing Mihawk.
