Crossing the Street in Hanoi

  • On our first visit to the continent of Asia, we stayed with our friends who are working and serving in Hanoi, Vietnam. One of the first things they taught us is how to cross the street. It's priceless cross-cultural experiences like these that make travel so fun and meaningful.

    There is no denying that there are many deaths in Thailand on the roads. but can choose that does not meet the risk such as going up a floating bridge and not riding a motorcycle too fast and without rules and not defending without a helmet. But Vietnam doesn't. It is necessary to walk without paying attention to the cars that come in. Here we must trust others for ourselves.

    The situation of the traffic is even worse and worse than the worst city with traffic in Indonesia which is often got called as the "gotham city" a.k.a Medan, north sumatera province :v

      I didn't find Medan so bad really. Had no issues crossing streets there. Hanoi was more intimidating for me.
