Looking at Rec Room as a whole, the issues are poor optimization due to wanting to be on all platforms, Internal higher up’s decisions, and advertising to the wrong audience. This would be a while as for all of these changes to come into reality “advertising would be faster” but I honestly don’t know what Rec Rooms roadmap is for the future anymore, 2023 roadmap was solid, but when coming into 2024, it seems very “out of touch” from what we are getting as players/creators I hope Rec Room’s Higher ups allow the developers that we know, to let them speak on things that we would like to hear on what is the company’s new mission, and how we as creators/players can help and fit into that mission with dialogue from both sides. At the end of the day I’m still hopeful that the company is still a number 1 community based company, while able to make profit for future projects to make the game better than before.

Started playing this game in 2020, had so much fun, starting learning makerpen in 2022 and was excited what i could learn and build... i'm still active on the game now, i'm only online to build.. i don't have fun anymore inside the game with anything, the only reason is because of building. Building is a part of me which i don't wanna lose, all though i don't enjoy doing it anymore a year ago, but it's just telling me not to quit... I respect and understand you're decision, and hopefully you'll find something to do! 👍
As someone who has been playing since 2021 (Ik im not that old) but RecRoom is just a sad depressing game now they dont ever listen to the players they dont even let the players help out the moderation. This game is truly depressing.

I had no social life and I was so exited to talk to people online, most of not all of my best friends has been from this game.. now there is no reason to play anymore, it's like beating a dead horse, you won't get anything from it if you keep playing it for nothing... i understand i havent played rec room in while except my brother which is the opposite, however he also started slowing down probably due to him getting bored of psvr and feeling like shit just like how i did a few years back and has been playing more screenmode on ps5 but still kinda slowed down but once that quest 3 come i might play again and so is he, and ohhh the amount of fights over the vr that is gonna happen.. and i hope your doing great
I had no reason to be involved in this Drama because it Originally started with a DISCORD CHANNEL being deleted by my Boyfriend.. all Focus was on him until one random day.. it swapped to me.
I first played rec room way back in January of 2018. I wasn't even old enough to play the game back then. And it was way more simplistic. You could not have custom usernames, there was a sandbox arcade like machine, and the play section was activities. I didn't really even know how to join custom rooms yet. But then our PSVR cable got chewed by our dog and it broke. Around September of 2018, I tried to play rec room on my PC, but could not get into any public lobby. I created an account on that PC that I still use after almost 6 whole years. When we got an Oculus quest in May of 2019, I got Rec Room on it and created a junior account. I was pretty cool again, but I realized I should use a senior account. So that's when I remembered about my account I made on my pc. I then decided to log in to that account and, well, the rest is history. I had so much fun, seeing the game change and get a different feel. I was enjoying the game day after day until Early 2022. It just started to get boring. Only the league of heroes event made me come back a little. But when that was over, it just seemed even more pointless. Even now I still play sometimes, but it's just not that fun anymore.

I do get some rectubers or craters for the game quit playing Rec Room. And I know there is a lot of rec room bugs like sometimes you join a room and you get soft lock and you have to restart rec room. And all the lag for low end devices and even RRS (Rec Room studio). The game has got more toxic the more and more players come on rec room and just yelling bad stuff like the N-Word (I even got someone banned for saying the n-word.) So I hope you made the right decision and stop playing Rec Room and you can move on and do something else instead. And rec room has so much bugs that sometimes annoying. @@TonicRR There is a lot of things that can go into the term worse and worse, and for rec room, this is exactly what I was implying. I feel like every game that hits big numbers eventually turns into a toxicity simulator with corporate greed and dumb decisions from the developers. (Also sorry about the misgender error) Edit: also the new UI is horrendous in my opinion compared to the classic UI
