Everyone who makes videos should watch this one! Thank you for not wasting our time with stirring and mixing, etc. Most of us already know how to do that, so we end up jumping forward or just closing out the video - very frustrating! Sped up and no waste of time - perfect!!! AND, by the way, your work is amazing! Thank you!! Thank you!! Thank you!!
Great video !!! Nice to hear a familiar Aussie accent...lol . Resi blast..I'm going to look for some of that magic in a bottle. If no luck I'm off to the chemist for alcohol. Fantastic tips...fantastic results !!! A truckload of thankyous to you !!! xxx
Hi Sheri, thx for your sharing. I've a few of doubt bout my understanding in this vid I hope you can help me to clear it. That's bout the 2nd way using resi blast has 2 choice to make the cells 1. Put few drips into mixed resin cups and then do the direct pour layer by later 2. Using mixed resin cups (without any resi blast) into 1 cup and do the dirty pouring. Am i catch right?
Hi Sheri. I’m very new to resin art and have found your videos absolutely wonderful and informative. This one helped me with many questions that I’ve had. Your creations are beautiful!
I dont think I saw any one else comment on this so, I ll ask. Do you use a heat gun on any of the resin pours? I would think the last one would be a bit tricky considering you use alcohol.
Garry Hart hey. I do use a blow torch to pop the bubbles in the resin. I don’t hold it in one spot I keep the torch moving. You just have to be super careful with the heat and alcohol.
Amazing work. What sort of resin are you using..? New to this sort of thing. Have started casting resin and woodworking with ecopoxy. Super informative video. Well done
Very helpful! What color did you use in the last example? It looks like a blush or nude. I have searched but Im not sure what Im looking for. I love it!
Iron Man Arts 2017 isopropyl alcohol $27.95/500ml from Bunnings. Or $30/5litres (including delivery) from Sydney Solvents websites. Resi Blast is available online. Hope that helps.
Thank you so much! So very helpful. I do wonder about your ways of protecting your work surface, how do you clean up or set up your work space. Thanks!
Great video! I do acrylic pouring and have done my first resin pour last week...and love it! I do watch your videos and find them so helpful Thank you. Are you saying "resin blast?" --the stuff you added a few drops of to make the cells? I wasn't quite sure what you were saying. I'm new to resin-- watching a lot of videos to learn before I even buy my supplies. I bet you make some beautiful pieces of art. Cell art is so new to me, it's so amazing!
@@sherivegasartist actually 'resi-blast.' Do you not find that it leaves oily craters in the surface of your first pour, and that they are almost impossible to infill because of the silicone-like contamination from this stuff?
What’s a dirty pour? There’s actually a few different terms you used that I’m sure that experienced resin artists know the meaning of but I’m completely new.. any tips or advice on where I could go to learn more about this?
Does art pouring require a heat gun or will a blow dryer have the same effect? I’m about to start experimenting with resin art and I was hoping someone could give me some tips. I just need to know if I should go ahead and buy the heat gun if it makes a large difference
Thank you soooo much to make cells understanding! Great! 1 question: how do you bring out bubbles? Is it possible to work with a heat gun or is that not possible with the additives? Thank you for your answer and very kind regards from the baltic sea Germany
Loved this video. How would you suggest to work with semi opaque tints when working with plexiglass to solve the problem of being able to see through the resin/tint?
