@@Bharatghumo09 since you said you rarely heard any 'Nagar'in the southern names, here's a fun fact- Hyderabad itself is also called- BhagyaNagar.
There are many 'nagars' in Hyderabad localities itself- Ashok nagar, Himayat nagar, S.r. Nagar, A.s.rao nagar, etc. And then there is Mahboobnagar too.

The other side of dam goes to Srisailam and the other side of bridge goes to Amaravathi then Vijayawada... Prakasham Barage... The other side of dam the boat's are running there we have Nagarjuna Konda and a Museum you have to travel by boat. Site seeing site....
