Saw him/"Heritage Singers" 53 years ago, for the first time! In, Sonora, Calif.......I was 17. Much later, 37......John Lomacang/ex-Heritage, was my pastor in Antioch, Calif. Soo, we saw Max & Heritage.....quite a few times. Have seen them 3,4 times since, in Spokane, Wash......soo glad I've been blessed by Max & his singers, so many times🙏

At first I thought this is the wrong video seeing Max sing when he has passed. But is the right video. I first saw The h Heritage Singers around 1974, and from that day on my love for this group and songs just grew more every time I saw them or heard more of their songs. I cant even imagine how many thousands of souls he brought to Jesus, has to be astronomical,,,
He sounds so strong here and will be greatly missed. A true man of God with great faith and always showed it. I pray for all his family, the group and that it continue and for the church to come together more in times like these that are so trying everywhere. God Bless you Max.

My heart is so broken on hearing these sad news, and they are saddening indeed. Max was the real man of God. My deepest condolences to the family, Heritage Singers and the Church at large. He has left a legacy. Soon the morning will appear in it's dazzling glory.
That is so sad. I grew up listening to the Heritage Singers. Their music ministry became part of my inspiration. My condolence to the Mace family and to those who had an opportunity to be part of the singing group all these years. It won’t be long; we will be going home then we will meet Max again.
