The Bible was the best book I first owned. I had bibles in my storage unit that went all the way back to the ones I earned reciting and memorizing verses at the Wednesday bible class at my public school, Pitcher Elementary school in Detroit, Michigan. Loved those painted animal cookies and kool-aid. Jimmy, taking up the bible classes at church over the past 3 years has been enlightening and has guided my life. Looking forward to the 4th and final Disciple class in the fall every Monday night. God has guided us through the best book in the world and we have to do is find a version we like and read it every day. It contains mysteries, murders, miracles, great storms, love, hatred, thieves, warriors, prophets, adultry, famines, war, gardens, floods and the list goes on and on. it is a best seller that has withstood the test of time for it is just as current as it is past. it is the guidelines for us to live our lives and explains what it takes to know our Lord and to spend eternity with Him. It is the Truth for it is of Him Who is the Truth. The Living Word of God is power for it enables us access to God the Father thru God the Son. And in spite of "modern" man's attempts to do away with this "old" book, it is still here and is still very much alive. So Shine on Brother, for The Living Word Shines thru us thru Him Who was the perfect sacrifice!

A PS to Jimmy. Read your thoughts on otters in your last message with regard to the poor fishing at the local pond. This pond is part of a wildlife area and so I will pass the info along to the folks that oversee the operation.
The agriculture department will trap those otters out of just about any lake. They are really destructive to fish populations! Have a super Sunday! God Bless! jimmy

I always get amused at stocked Pond fisherman, especially small pond fisherman, who brag about catching giant bass all the time or how easy it is to catch them. Well of course it is. Roll out here on Lake Fork, Sam Rayburn, Texoma, Palestine, Kissimee, Gunterville, or Toledo Bend or any number of other lakes and show us how easy it is to catch Giant Water Hogs every cast.. LOL. Either way I am glad folks are fishing. Tight Lines and God Bless COTD friends.
Stained water is the color of the water between clear and muddy. Usually can see a lure down about 2 feet or so. That’s generally a good water Color to fish! Thanks May God Bless! jimmy
I don’t know. Angela, it probably does! I do know how you feel. We had to put Daisy down recently and it was really hard! I had to really help her get in the mule, took her for a long ride around the ranch for about an hour and met the vet at the gate! Don’t know if there is an animal Heaven, but the way we all enjoy and love em’, I’m kinda thinking there probably is!! They do become family. May God Bless!! jimmy

I always get amused at stocked Pond fisherman, especially small pond fisherman, who brag about catching giant bass all the time or how easy it is to catch them. Well of course it is. Roll out here on Lake Fork, Sam Rayburn, Texoma, Palestine, Kissimee, Gunterville, or Toledo Bend or any number of other lakes and show us how easy it is to catch Giant Water Hogs every cast.. LOL. Either way I am glad folks are fishing. Tight Lines and God Bless COTD friends.

Stained water is the color of the water between clear and muddy. Usually can see a lure down about 2 feet or so. That’s generally a good water Color to fish! Thanks May God Bless! jimmy

I don’t know. Angela, it probably does! I do know how you feel. We had to put Daisy down recently and it was really hard! I had to really help her get in the mule, took her for a long ride around the ranch for about an hour and met the vet at the gate! Don’t know if there is an animal Heaven, but the way we all enjoy and love em’, I’m kinda thinking there probably is!! They do become family. May God Bless!! jimmy
