I lost my beloved wife 8 months ago. I was waiting for her to come back to life but she hasn't.
Now I have only hope that we will meet in heaven. It's Ok, no matter even if we don't live like husband and wife but it will be a great joy to meet her again, that too in Jesus's presence.

No want be married but the love will be the same. We want need marriage when we have a love for each other. No deaths, no sickness, no worries, no tears, only love that will live for ever. Not and earthly love , a Spiritual love that will be even stronger that will never die.

My husband passed away a week ago and I’m really struggling, I don’t see how I’m going to continue with my life, I love him so much. I saw your video with Perry Stone and how you’ve been studying heaven since your wife passed away. That’s what I’m trying to do as well, seeing him again in heaven is my only consolation. This comment is 2 years old now so I hope you have adjusted as much as possible. I know the pain is real. I lost my wife on New Year’s Day and it is a loss like no other I’ve experienced. I can’t call her, share a meal, dream or cry with her anymore. I miss physical touch and just feeling close to someone. And yes, knowing she is in heaven and has no more physical pain and suffering is a huge relief. I know she missed her parents and others who had gone before her. All those things should comfort me, but I still struggle with feeling abandoned by my partner. Ugh 😢

@@dguiley Thank you for taking the time to reply and share your own grief with me. Yes, it’s been two and half years for me and by the grace of God I’m now in a better place. I wouldn’t say the pain is completely gone but you learn to carry it with you. Some days it feels heavier some days lighter. Yours is a bit recent and I’m sure you are still going through a roller coster of emotions, but hang in there and keep your eyes in God and I promise he’ll carry you through this season.

Adam and Eve lived together as man and wife in the Garden of Eden and would have lived like that forever, except for the fall. Then they were driven out, became mortal and subject to old age and death.
But marriage was instituted in the beginning, by an immortal and eternal God and is just as eternal as God Himself. It's wrong to think that death has any power to undo or put asunder, what God Himself has joined.

What about the verses in the New Testament that say marriage won't exist in heaven?

    • @jamesbaldwin7676
      @jamesbaldwin7676 27 วันที่ผ่านมา

@@Qwerzxcv954 It's true, there is no marrying or giving in marriage in the resurrection. This is because the marriage Covenant (like baptism) is an earthly ordinance and must be entered into during an earthly life. Marriage must also be performed by proper priesthood authority and sealed of the Holy Spirit of Promise (the Holy Ghost).
Notice the scripture doesn't say "there are no married people in the resurrection" just no one getting married.
A marriage like this is eternal, since it was instituted by an Eternal Father . Therefore neither death or the grave has any power to put asunder what God hath joined.
As the scriptures say; God made man in His own image, male and female created He them. So what kind of heaven would it be if resurrected men and women (with immortal and perfected bodies) were forced to live forever both single and separately for all time and eternity?

@@Qwerzxcv954 marriage of the world yes however in heaven things are different. based on some interpretations and some peoples said experiences visiting the heavens it might be more of a soul mate relationship in other words instead of looking at relationship as a marriage certificate it's a bonding of the hearts . in the world people marry people they don't love all the time but love is of the heart . god knows our heart better than we do. so it sounds like he will place us with the person we actually love.

Didn't watch the video, but to answer the question, Jesus said that "in the Kingdom there is neither giving or taking in marriage", as explained to the religious leaders in response to their question regarding the woman who married seven brothers. Also, the wedding vow says, "until death do you part" so death breaks the marriage covenant. So no! There will be no marriage in heaven beyond the Church (the body of believers), being married to Christ, the Bridegroom!

I respectfully have to disagree. Before the fall of man, in the perfection of the Garden, Eve was created for Adam to be his wife, his helpmate. If God’s intention has been to RETURN us to that perfection, it would stand to reason that would include our marriage relationships. Consider the mourning and loss that many have expressed in this comments section, how much they long for their beloved. Our loving Father that wants to give us good things would not create marriage and everything that goes with it as only a pacifier here on earth only to have the closest relationship that we could have with another person dissolved into the sea of forgetfulness with our sins.
Also remember that Heaven is not our “forever home”, either. We will be there during the Marriage Supper of the Lamb/7-year tribulation and then we will return with Christ to rule and reign here during the Millennial reign, after which is the Great White Throne judgement, and then God creates the New Heaven and New Earth. The New Jerusalem comes to sit on the New Earth and that’s where we go to commune with God (God would come to the Garden to be with Adam and Eve but He still had His own place; He created the Garden, a physical location, initially for us).
I said all that to say this (and this may flip some wigs or upset some Pharisees): I have a theory that we will continue to propagate and grow the human species throughout eternity through the family unit, again, as God originally intended: without morning sickness, without pain, without all the negatives associated with pregnancy. Based on biblical proofs, in Genesis chapter 2 when God presented Eve to Adam, he was excited about HER...after being in the perfection of the garden...and in the presence of God! In verse 24 of the same chapter, it says that "a man will leave his father and mother [here we have an establishment of parental lineage before kids were even born] and cleave unto his wife [marriage relationship] and the two will become one flesh" [okay, come on...even a prude knows what THAT means]. Jesus quoted the same scripture in the book of Matthew, confirming this same information!
My brothers and sisters, to those that have lost your spouses, I cannot imagine your heartbreak and frankly, I pray I never do. I pray constantly that the Rapture of the Church occurs before I lose any of my immediate or any more of my extended family and the way this sick world is going, I don't believe it will be much longer. I pray these words will give you hope to know that our life does not end here; on the contrary, it's called eternal LIFE for a reason as it is a continuation of our lives but without the pain, suffering, illness, sorrow, etc. No, I don't have all the answers (widows/widowers that remarried and whom they would be married to there) but there are two things that I *AM* for certain of: there is a God and I ain't Him. ❤

Ok so lets brake this down, so there is no 1000 year reign, is no 7 year wedding feast, thats all pre-millennial junk, and you 100% correct, bible never talks about going to a future state, but god restoring everything, so on mew earth we will have relationships and will have kids, so there is no marriage, god didnt create marriage which is why it wont be there, god made one flesh, and one flesh isnt marriage, catholic religion started all this marriage crap in 15th century, and its been taught since, the true gospel has been lost for 1000 years, and 99% of all churchs and pastors are frauds, matthew 22:30 was talking about marriage, because originally marriage was created to use women as property, and jesus was talking about the jewish leverage marriage, which was based on death, women would sign a contract and be passed from one brother to another, on new earth there is no death and no sin, so people would never use anyone as a item or property, and is no death so you cant marry or be given in marriage AS property, as for being like the angels, jesus gave a stupid answer to a stupid question LOL read mark, literally says, and nether shall they die anymore for they are AS the angels, so the only contrats to angels is we are immortal and never die, the saddices had a worldy sense and a sinful spirit, they look at marriage as a tool for personal gain for religious purposes, and they also didn't believe in the resurrection of christ, (jews still dont today) and they also didn't believe in angels, so jesus just have a answer using all the words they didn't believe in, otherwise he would have answered a regular question, this whole, *no marriage in heaven* is probably biggest lie church came up with

What an unlearned teacher this guy is. The bible doesn’t say we will not be married in heaven at all. Jesus only said in the context of the Sadducee’s gotcha question that in resurrection no-one is going to be getting married. He then speaks of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob who had the promise of endless posterity through marriage. Marriage is part of the highest state of our eternal existence, there isn’t a higher existence to be had in being single. Consider Peters statement in 1 Peter 3:7.

The only marriage that will exist in heaven will be the marriage of Christ to his bride the church. That marriage will be better than the kind of marriage people have known on the earth. There will be no need for reproduction either, as the family of God will be complete.

I disagree. God does not ever change. Nor does he revoke his covenant. He said in Mathew we wouldn’t be given in marriage or marry. That is future tense and tied to the Levitical meaning of marriage. When we become one flesh in Genesis God says nothing about Death breaking his covenant of one flesh. Adam and Eve were joined together before their fall. I encourage you to study further. Additionally scripture says you are bound to your husband as long as he lives. If you are in Christ you do not die. Once you except Christ you are resurrected. Only non believers experience death that Jesus mentions. Even the angels procreated with women on the Earth although they were forbidden to take them as wives.

As some scholars have noted, the present tense verbs in Luke 20:34 indicate that both groups of sons are living in the present age, with the sons worthy of resurrection being identified by their marital restraint. Crispin Fletcher-Louis sums it up well: “ [the activities in] the present tense in Luke 20:34, should be attributed to the present life.” The versions of this scene recorded in Matthew and Mark are quite similar in detail and wording. Luke’s account, however, is significantly different and includes information not found in the other two.
Just as he did in Lk. 16:8, Jesus contrasts “the sons of this age” with a righteous group of sons using the present tense. The “sons of this age” are marrying (gamousin) while the “sons of God” are not marrying (oute gamousin). The ones who are not marrying are not said to be living in the future age; they are only considered worthy to attain to the future age. This was no call to a life of celibacy.
Some scholars generally take the unconventional view that Luke 20:34-36 is a call to celibacy in the present age. In making this argument, however, they do not take into account the negative connotation of “the sons of this age”. This identifies the group of sons who marry as wicked sons, signaling that a particular sort of marriage is inview. Jesus was by implication referring to forbidden marriages.
Mark and Matthew omit Luke’s explicit moral contrast between righteous and wicked sons. But even if these shorter accounts are closer to Jesus’ original words, his meaning would have been clear to an audience steeped in the Hebrew scriptures. Contextually, his replies to the previous two challenges already pointed in the direction of Malachi’s eschatological prophecies about the corrupt priesthood.
His audience could hardly have missed an allusion to Malachi in this third reply that mentions being “like angels” and is directed at the priests: the very name “Malachi” (mal’aki) means “my angel” and Mal. 2:7 describes the priest as the “angel of the Lord.” Further, forbidden marriages like those in Malachi were expected to continue to the time of the Messiah (Mal.3:1-5). With their long history of forbidden marriages, the Sadducees fit the bill to a tee.
The expression “marrying and giving in marriage” is and on ther rare phrase found in only two New Testament scenes. Jesus used it in his reply to the Sadducees, and then again in the Olivet Discourse just a few hours later. In the latter case,he was describing the marrying and giving in marriage that would occur before his return:

Matthew 24:37-39 - For as were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man
This passage is commonly thought to contain a list of morally neutral activities. But Darrell Bock rightly challenges the common view: “[t]he verbs may seem neutral, but anyone familiar with the flood story would know that they connote moral corruption.”
Indeed, upon closer inspection we will find that Jesus is actually warning his disciples not to participate in each pair of activities. We will consider each of these pairs in turn.
Rarely is it noticed that Jesus explains the nature of this “eating and drinking” later in the Olivet Discourse. He warns the disciples that they must stay awake to be ready for his coming, because the “ wicked servant” who “eats and drinks with drunkards” will be surprised by his return and judged a hypocrite (vss. 48-50). A particular form of eating and drinking is clearly in view.
The charge to “stay awake” is an eschatological metaphor with both spiritual and physical connotations. The disciples were to be spiritually sober, which involved physically refraining from the kind of eating and drinking that leads to debauchery and would render them unprepared for his return. Such “eating and drinking” is strongly condemned in the Old Testament. It included eating and drinking in the context of idolatrous rituals (e.g. Ex. 32:5-6, Hos. 2:11-13) or the over indulgence of food and alcohol (e.g. Deut. 21:20, Ecc. 10:16-17) that is often associated with other sins like violence and the neglect of the poor. One key example of this latter category occurs in Isaiah 5, a passage Jesus alluded to when denouncing the corrupt priests.
These texts illustrate the sort of “eating and drinking” Jesus has in view. He identifies it as the behavior of the wicked at the time of the flood and later associates it with drunkenness, confirming it to be immoral in nature. This in turn implies that the next pair of verbs he mentions will also denote immoral behavior. Marrying and Giving in Marriage.
Interpreters often neglect the fact that Jesus sets this “marrying and giving in marriage” in a very specific context: the days of Noah before the flood. It is clearly an allusion to Genesis 6, which mentions the marriages that took place precisely because they were forbidden:

      Genesis 6:2-3:

"And it came to pass when men began to be numerous upon the earth, and daughters were born to them, that the sons of God having seen the daughters of men that they were beautiful, took to themselves wives of all whom they chose. And the Lord God said, “My Spirit shall certainly not remain among these men forever...”
The cause-and-effect connection between illicit marriage and the flood judgment was firmly embedded in Israel’s national consciousness. Ellen Robbins observes that sexual immorality as the primary cause of the flood “remains the dominant motif in later [Jewish] interpretation.” One example is the tradition found in the book of Jubilees (ca. 150 BCE), where Noah warns his sons to refrain from the sort of marriages that instigated the flood judgment.
Both the Old Testament and most other Second Temple Jewish texts regard illicit marriages as the primary cause of the flood. Jesus’ disciples therefore would have instantly recognized his reference to “marrying and giving in marriage” in the days of Noah as a warning againstbecoming entangled in sexual immorality.
Luke Timothy Johnson observes that “for ancient moral logic generally, incontinence withrespect to food is integrally linked to incontinence with respect to sex.” The linkage between these two negative pairs of activities appears in several NT passages that specifically allude to the Olivet Discourse.Peter compared his generation with the “days of Noah” (1 Pe. 3:20-21) and cautioned believers to avoid “doing what the Gentiles want to do, living in sensuality, passions, drunkenness, orgies , drinking parties and lawless idolatry” (4:3). And Paul told the Roman church that “the hour has come for you to wake from sleep” (Rom. 13:11), meaning that they should “walk properly as in the daytime, not in orgies and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality andsensuality ” (13:12 13).Moreover, the activities Jesus mentioned in the Olivet Discourse are a list of sinful behaviors that would be prevalent right before his return. This means that just a few short hours afterhe first used the phrase “marrying and giving in marriage” in his confrontation with the Sadducees, Jesus used the same phrase a second and final time to describe the sexual immorality that would occur at the end of the age.

@@germanvielma5461 also consider that there's no "marriage in heaven" because we are as the angels. Angels ALWAYS appear in your Bible as MEN. Bible says we will be like HIS glorious body. We are called the SONS of God (not daughters). Sorry ladies! In sum, angels are never referred to as sexless beings with wings. But we won't be getting married "in heaven" because we'll all be male like HIM.
But it's not clear about how it will be like in the Millennium where the Tree of Life is being partaken from. The reasons the sons of God and the daughters of men lead to a mess was because there was sin and blood in the world. I really am not sure exactly how it will be, but we have to trust GOD when He says He will make ALL THINGS NEW.

I think it’s actually a little different than what you stated. Unfortunately I’m too tired to do all the looking up of the references so I’ll charge you with doing Acts 17:11 diligence:
Man is a 3-part being: spirit, soul, and body (1 Thes 5:13). The body dies and decays here on earth but the spirit returns to God who gave it (Gen 2:7, Ecc 12:7) in Heaven (the spirit realm). Your soul (mind) also accompanies which allows you to know and recognize others and remember the past.
Marriage on earth was instituted after Adam realized he was alone, so he could have a helpmeet, and for procreation. None of these are necessary in heaven, nor possible without bodies. Now the shocker for most is that we won’t remain in heaven for all eternity. In fact we will be returned to earth to rule and to reign with Christ. That is when we will get our new glorified bodies because they are once again required on earth.

    Interesting video. Thanks!
And if you would be so kind, please allow me to post my contribution to His cause …
WHAT EVERYONE DESERVES TO KNOW ABOUT HEAVEN:
Jesus Christ destroyed the barrier of sin between God and mankind at the cross so we can have peace with Him and have assurance we’ll make it to heaven.

WHY WOULD HE DO THAT? The Bible (God's only trustworthy Word for the human race) tells us: All of us were born with an unrighteous sinful nature. We inherited it spiritually from Adam and Eve, the first two created people, because of their disobedience to God by giving into the devil's deceiving temptation. Why would the devil do such a thing anyway? Because he hates God! The devil wants no one enjoying intimate, joyous relationship with God. He once had it yet lost it, and now wants no one else having it either.

God is so holy - so righteous - so pure … that He cannot and will not allow unrighteous sinners to remain with Him in heaven. But God had a plan to undo what Satan did to the human race. Jesus Christ IS the plan! Jesus came to earth to ransom you and everyone else for Himself, God the Father, and God the Holy Spirit. He took full punishment for your sins against God and the sins of everyone else on the cross so our sins no longer would keep us separated from God. Furthermore, He traded His righteousness for our unrighteousness through His death, burial and resurrection! (See: 2 Corinthians 5:21). It is ONLY God’s IMPUTED righteousness that makes us acceptable to Him - that is FREELY given to us who make Jesus our Savior and Lord. Imagine being in a courtroom, and the Judge has just sentenced you to death. Also imagine Jesus Christ being your lawyer. Jesus Christ says to the Judge (or in other words, God the heavenly Father): "Your Honor, I want to serve my client's sentence and pay the price for his/her wrong-doing by dying instead so my client can go free." Can you imagine someone doing such a thing for you?! JESUS DID IT!
Of course you may be thinking at that moment: I haven't done anything to be sentenced to die! I'm being falsely accused! "What have I supposedly DONE, God?!" Here's your answer: God gave 10 commandments for people to keep in the Old Testament Bible. Anyone who breaks just one of those commandments must be punished for breaking them against God. Where does it say THAT?! It says that in Romans 6:23: For the wages of sin is death but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Have you ever lied? Lied just one time? Everyone of us has lied at least once. Number 9 of the 10 commandments says: Thou shalt not lie (bear false witness). You know what that makes us? A disobedient sinning liar against God and His moral law - His 10 commandments. (Revelation 21:8 also tells us what God thinks of lying). You just read above what God says about our disobedient sinning against Him by breaking just ONE of His moral laws: God’s punishment for doing so is DEATH. Spiritual death. Ultimately total separation from God and agonizingly suffering for our sins against Him for all eternity -- totally void of any love, peace, hope, joy or forgiveness from God ever again (otherwise known as hell).

BUT HERE IS GOD'S BEST NEWS! We can receive forgiveness for all our unrighteous, disobedience (sins) against God and our sins against others RIGHT NOW and have certainty RIGHT NOW that on the Judgment Day, our sins WON'T be held against us! HOW CAN THAT BE?! By asking Jesus Christ to forgive us for our sins and trusting that He HAS forgiven us of them simply by our asking and trusting! Jesus will do it!

1 John 1:8-9 says: If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Thus if we make Jesus our personal Lord and Savior - every time we sin - we have every right to ask Jesus Christ to forgive us of our sin(s) - cleanse us as though we never sinned - so that when our heart stops beating, we can be assured that we won't have to suffer eternal damnation for our sins. Jesus Christ did what no other human being has ever done or ever could do. He was the ONLY person on this planet who has never sinned. And because He never sinned, He is the only acceptable sacrifice God the Father would accept to pay ransom payment for each of OUR sins. That is simply AMAZING, isn't it?! Yet JESUS DID IT!
WHY? Because of God’s LOVE and MERCY for lost souls like you and I who will reach out in humility and demonstrate appreciation for His FREE GIFT of forgiveness (pardon) so we can have friendship and intimacy with Him starting now ... and lasting for ETERNITY! This life is your starting point with your loving Creator that will last for eternity. Ask Jesus for His FREE GIFT of forgiveness TODAY. Ask Him to live inside you. He WANTS to!
(Please make copies of this Gospel Message and distribute them in YOUR area. Please post the above JESUS DID IT! Gospel Truths EVERYWHERE to help share the Good News of Jesus Christ).

Matthew 22:30 only says there will be no marriage ceremonies in the resurrection. It doesn't say that married people won't remain married. The Church of Jesus Christ LDS performs eternal marriages and family sealings in the Temple, even for those who have already passed on. This binding by the power of the holy priesthood is effective throughout eternity. At that time of the resurrection all the Temple sealings will have already been finished. So those who are single will remain so. Likewise those who have had Temple marriages will remain married. Something to think about.
