My first car was a '75 Eldorado. Jennifer blue w/ blue cabriolet top. Blue Monticello interior. Gift from my father to my mother. She hated it. 3 years and 1,800 miles later it became mine when I started driving. It was fully loaded only lacking fuel injection and an Astro roof. First year for illuminated entry. We can look fondly back now, but in reality that car had more body shims, paint errors, poor assembly, than the close to $14,000 sticker ($80,000 today) it should have had. It was a sled, but I wished I still had it!
