- On January 30, 1969, The Beatles famously staged their final live performance on the rooftop of their Apple Corps headquarters in London’s Savile Row. Norah performed two rooftop tribute performance videos of Beatles songs from the Let It Be album (“I’ve Got A Feeling” and “Let It Be”), recently filmed with her band on the rooftop of New York’s Empire State Building.

This is good! It’s like a funkier, jazzy version of a Beatles song. She makes it her own version.
I hope Macca sees this. I think he’d like it but I’d really like to hear his reaction. She is talented so I think he’d recognize that. Her keyboard playing is wonderful, too! She really did her homework on these songs.

i just saw a youtube video of a cover of "obla di obla da" sung by a young lady named Gabriella Bee. the video is edited to show her singing and playing all the instruments HERSELF! all in the same shots. quite impressive. check it out if you can.

Brian Blade, the drummer, is one of the best jazz drummers around. The bassist here really was laying down some nice grooves, Paul would be pleased.

So, been a fan of this lovely lady for 23 years. Thought I knew all her great live performances on youtube, specifically the ones uploaded on behalf of Norah. Turns out I was wrong. This, dare I say it is better than her "Let it be" cover from the same set. And that's freaking awesome. So if that is freaking awesome then what the hell is this?
