You are a lovely couple, an inspiration, keep enjoying your travels as long as you can, we plan to travel when we retire, in our caravan with out 2 little dogs, see you tomorrow ❤ xxx
Hi Trevor& Pat, we are both 60 next year our retirement age is currently 67 but we will be retiring before then. To be honest I would live in the caravan now, but hubby is recovering from a new knee. We would be a lot better off.
You are such a lovely couple. I retired at 60 in 2018 and unfortunately a lot of my retirement was lost due to covid. We decided to buy a caravan last year and have loved getting out and about with our dog. Unfortunately my husband still has to work but we get away as much as we can. I hope you can continue your travels. X
Nice to hear from you Kathy. We are living through very hard times, and I don't know how long we can keep travelling, but you can be sure we will do all we can to continue. Good to hear you have come through Covid and got a van. Enjoy yourself while you can Kathryn. ❤️
hi Trevor and Pat im a 62 year old Australian and have just finished kitting out our new 4 wheel drive and about to purchase our new caravan to travel around Australia i am very pleased that you both enjoy traveling keep enjoying life 🙃🙃🙃
Thanks for the comment Geoff, it must be great to have all that space to travel around in. Thanks for watching, and we do try to make good use of the life we have.
Oh, I'm crying.😢 I don't know why the war has always affected me deeply...😢 i watched the movie about the little boy. Upset me for a week... But, to lighten this a little, I bet, u two would be happy wherever u end up... In a house, shack, nursing home, or on the road like you are doing...❤ I'm so glad you're living your dream.😃
Dinah, this is such a lovely comment. It's good to know that you have sensitivity in this brutish world. Can't imagine living life without Pat, we have always made the best of what we have
Good to get chance to watch you both again. Interesting stuff Trevor about the finances. Sounds like a very powerful and thought provoking film Trevor and very sad too.
Yes Helen, I hope it doesn't mean that in three years most of our brass will be gone. The film was powerful. It highlights how human beings try to persuade themselves that things aren't happening, but eventually the cracks in their Armour open up and reality seeps in.
I wanted to do drawings of places we visited and sell them to subsidise our pensions on Facebook, but no one was interested, so I turned my attention to TH-cam, and the same thing happened, but I discovered that recording our travels was a rewarding experience in itself, so continued to do it, but do it in a very simple dailey diary way. Pat wasn't interested at first, but after a while she got comfortable with it, and now we both bounce ideas off one another.
Most things we have been told are a Lie. I love listening to you both.
It's taken us a long time to discover that Patricia, we thought we lived in a country where honesty prevailed, but now we know different.
You know you have each other and good sense of humour and that is something you cannot buy, so enjoy 😊
Thank you for this comment, which is so true.
I agree rather than look too far ahead live for today very wise 😊 minimal plans 😊
👍
