You’re a good teacher. I’ll use this lesson to work on my chops. I love those flat-7 chords in the first two songs. Credit to the great Nicky Hopkins who elevated the Stones music with his stellar piano work.
nice lesson. I am stuggling though to get the L and R hand correct on Ruby Tuesday on suss 4 and wondering best way to work on it -hopefully it will come soon - thanks
Great lesson!Another Stones song to include would be You Can’t Always Get What You Want. IMO Nicky Hopkins is the quintessential rock pianist. Sympathy for the Devil is like a master class for rock piano. Nicky did a lot more rhythm variations and embellishments on that song. It would be really cool to do a detailed break down of everything that he does in that song.
@@OnlineRockLessons Excellent! If you feel so inclined please do a tutorial on You Can’t Always Get What You Want. The verses are a simple 2 chord vamp but I don’t ever feel like I capture the rhythm properly when I play it.
Hey! I made everything in C so it’s easier to transpose and understand for the students! It’s really form a teaching side since it’s not a transcription of the songs!
Chuck Leavell Nicky Hopkins Ian Stewart Billy Powell. Any & all lessons of/on their "style" is much appreciated. You did a great job Sis.
