hey jhow, i just wanted to say that i like your diablo guides the best. your screen layout when you describe either the gear or skills helps make it easier to see what you're talking about. i just was wondering if you're planning on making a guide for the "no set" build. cuz im on console and cant see what consists of these builds people use on GR's.
+Danielknut If you play on PS4 or XBONE these versions are equal with PC. All the items are there, only no seasons but the gear from seasons kan drop in console versions. If you play on xbox 360 or ps3 blizzard stopped updating this version. So you can just follow this build. :)
Paragon points are a bit wrong, the resource cost reduction should be prioritised 4th instead of 3rd, while it's not 'really' important, you'd just get more out of the gold find 3rd instead. Only one ability uses resources in this build and that's Piranhas, so the RCD on that really isn't needed at all.

Just made this build now. Helltooth +garg . Liking it. till no ancient gear or lvld gems and can clear 60+ fun build once you get used to it. took me a bit to get used to the gameplay
On the belts- I have concerns about the Belt of Transcendence not proccing fetishes since you don't have a spammable mana spender in this build. I've found the String of Ears adds some nice mitigation when choosing not to use the Witching Hour. Thoughts?

Im looking for a WD build that competes with DH MS build.. something fast and not exactly speed farming but doing alot and moving fast.. doesnt seem like its possible but it seems to be. Is there a way to make your pets aggressive? (they attack random enemies constantly)?

+Ryan Lamb you lose the henry's proc..which is really significant since with all the CC mobs usually don't hit you more than once...also your wall of death, soul harvest, nado as well as the cold gargs themselves already slow/cc for bott...losing 5 stacks (30%) of dmg reduction and a bunch of armor from soul harvest and henry's is too much survivability loss...grasp is a nice gimmick and its certainly fun to use but its hurting the focus of the build...theres probably a fun and viable LoN or helltooth build out there that focuses on grasp to deal dmg and lets it be more than just a fun gimmick...but its not a wise decision to just shove it in a different build that has a completely different focus and playstyle and also needs the slots

It's a bad idea to have any kind of fetishes out. They just block the gargs and dogs since their collision still isn't fixed. String of Ears and Witching Hour are preferred. Edit: If it were up to me I would remove all collisions between all pets, no matter what class or who they belong to.
+Sheki yes and no. its a nice passive and somewhat better than pierce the veil in the sense that its multiplicative with all other dmg modifiers and you tend to run around quite close to monsters a lot of the time with this build so you're kinda bound to get some use out of it sometimes. on the other hand your character doesn't attack really attack with this build...youre more like trying to hide and let your gargs do the work while you stay safe and cast your cooldowns from time to time....long story sort: its not optimal since your goal is to not be in range for it...but its not the worst and if the other stats line up and you got nothing better you can certainly go with it
It's a good option for sure. I think for most people it can be hard to stand still in situations for the extra damage. And convention works really well.
You can force craft nearly all items in the game. to get the knife, and even furnace, craft level 70 ceremonial knives, and 2 handed maces respectively. And upgrade them to legendary. It make take several tries but it will cycle through the items, there are only so many ceremonial knife legendaries. (It may be a poor roll, but just keep trying your luck.) This method is better than trying to gamble with blood shards.
+Scott Flatt or better yet after you get the knife thru the cube and it has a poor roll its just better to reforge it then try cycling thru a butt load of other knifes to get another and wasting resources lol
Or better better yet respond to a comment explaining how to get the item, with a method on how to get a better version of the item....im glad people like you exist, makes it easier to point and laugh.

I feel like every single wd i have played with sucks...(i have played with 2 so far,one is paragon 77 and the other is 700 because of an insane team that got me lvl up 500 lvls in 10 min).i see other players in the same paragon lvl with about 3 times as much damage and armor...i feel like quiting the game..

+Feared Fox just did a grim reaper version, put mask of jeram in cube, and wore the grim reaper, opt'd out of the tasker and theo, not a bad build

+sweedaal Agreed, plus 'nado gets mobs nice and clumpy for your gargs to cleave, which absolutely wrecks packs especially with area damage.

+Din this is a witch doctor build you dont even have any attacks that require speed becasue of cooldowns, plus your minions do everything
