    What’s your favorite go to tech bag?

      Got the Nomatic Backpack. A lot of pockets for everything. Best - it is expandable if I need more space.
      Waterfield is great. Great materials and look. But with SHIPping, tax and fees they are very expensive (in Europe)!

      This looks like a great bag! Waterfield stuff is on my list for future bags. I did just get a Timbuk2 Spire backpack and it’s been addition to my collection

      Christopher Lawley I just ordered one today. I can’t find on WaterField’s website or any other videos if the laptop compartment is suspended from the bottom of the bag.

      The only WaterField products I have purchased are the 3DS cases and they are very nice, this looks like a great backpack.
      My go to company for backpacks, travel bags and organizational gear is Tom Bihn out of Seattle. I have been using their stuff for about 15 years now and even my oldest packs look new.

    Man I'm always a sucker for a great EDC bag...so tempting!

    That's a nice looking bag Chris! With all that extra room, I think you could throw a water bottle inside the main compartment.

      Probably, I would just be afraid I would spill on my iPad.

      I’ve seen a pic with someone doing this, but like Chris said, I would make sure it’s a very secure and sweatproof bottle.

    That was a great video very well spoken, i just pulled the trigger I was a briefcase guy but i feel like this is better for everyday commute to work and will hold computer and all my other stuff!! Thanks buddy

    I currently use the Pro Executive backpack, but was thinking of grabbing one of these since I don’t need all the space of the Pro Executive everyday. I do find the side pockets on the Pro very handy though, and you can put a water bottle in one of them. Tough call. One of the things I don’t understand about the Sutter Slim is the Velcro strap. I always cut these out because they’re unnecessary.

    I'm actually considering this as a stand-in camera bag to be honest, most dedicated camera bags are either too small, too big or have soo much padding it's like carrying a rigid box on your back. This seems more ideal for a small, lightweight carry for a decent hike. The only minus is the water bottle.

    I bought the Waterfield Messenger Bag like 2 days after I watched your video about it. I love it. Not too big, not too small. Very "Indiana Jones" feeling. =]

    Pretty much sold me on this bag! Mind f I ask what kind of iPad do you use for your work? I have this very cheap HP laptop that runs so poorly and was considering upgrading to something else.

    Hi
    Which one looks better and last longer between the black leather and the one you are reviewing?
    Thank you!

    Struggling which colour/material should I go for - black/nylon or chocolate/canvas
    Not much comparison on the internet. Any suggestion?

    I needed something just like this for my iPad Pro!
    How is the inside stitching though? The close up camera shots make the stitching look concerningly thin, like it may rip over time. Any honest opinion on the durability of the stitching or materials?

    All I saw you drop into the quick access pocket was floss and antacids. ;)

    Nice video and nice bag, but price tag is way too high. I use a very solid VIctorinox bag with similar setup as this one for cheaper, and this is not a cheap brand either.

    I love a good quality backpack as much as the next person but isn’t $229 price tag too much?

    • @RollYourRock
      @RollYourRock 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Considering the superb quality and the fact that they're made in United States, no, it's not too much. - For comparison, price quality US made denim jeans...

      RollYourRock I agree the price is good for the quality, what I meant though isn’t that too much for a 🎒

    I’m interested in this Sutter backpack or their Sutter sling but my only worry is having uneven pressure on the iPad. I have the same 12.9 Pro + Smart Keyboard and want something that will protect it and hopefully not bend it. Maybe I’m worrying too much for nothing but you never know. Does bending it in a messenger bad or backpack worry you?

    • @bryanbuff
      @bryanbuff 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have had two Waterfield backpacks and they both have a nice rigid piece of protection between the back mesh and laptop compartment. I have had my Pro completely stuffed and never had any issues with the iPad bending. My suggestion is to use the main laptop compartment for the iPad Pro because it offers the most protection. I think the bending is more of a risk with shoulder bags because of the way it sits against the hip.

      Bryan Buffinton Thanks for the feedback Bryan. Yeah I’m sure its just me panicking for nothing.. I just want to take care of the Pro 13. I’m still not sure if I want a backpack or sling but I definitely want an SFBag,som, been wanting one way too long.

      if you use the new iPad pro you saw how fragile this shit is. best way to try to mitigate shitty built quality is to throw on it the toughest case you can find. try otterbox maybe and plus put it in a protective sleeve then inside the designated pocket inside the bag if you want more protection put the iPad not on your back but in the middle of the bag then put clothing or soft stuff in between your back and the iPad.
