Say what you want but this guy was fun to watch, especially in his younger days. In my eyes he had it all when it comes to game, just some things off the floor may have got in the way sometimes. But had to feature White Chocolate's game in the series.
I agree, but one could argue that he surpassed max expectations cause he came out of nowhere, and even his journey to get to UF was.. unprecedented, to say the least. This guy has one hell of a life story. Salute to him, and yourself JC.
Great video. I actually played against him at the University of Kentucky summer basketball camp. (Useless info: Randy Moss was also there at the football camp going on at the same time). He was a cool dude back then. All these years later I'm not ashamed to say that he clowned me on the court, he had me looking like I had roller skates on. I had no idea who that white kid from West Virginia was. Taught me never judge a book by it's cover At least I don't feel so bad looking what he did to guys in the NBA😅 Even though I had a good overall camp that led me to being recruited by Billy Donovan when he was at Marshall, I always laugh thinking about how everyone was talking about "who the hell was the white boy from West Virginia?!!!"
He didn’t invent the elbow pass, it wasn’t created on the fly. That move is a NY streetball move, however that doesn’t take away from Williams’ greatness. He was must see TV, which is really missing from today’s game. Great video💯
My favorite player ever. His first year was must watch and we did. Some of the things he could do were mind blowing. Never made an all-star, but he’s a legend in his own right
Exciting career he had crazy court vision exquisite handles and blazing speed and quickness . I honestly think if j will was a 16 (pts) & 11(ast) 1.5(stl) type player he would probably have made a few all star & all nba teams and possibly a hall of famer It’s amazing that he didn’t win an assist title
I thought that he had Van Exel’s scoring potential, but he was nowhere near as strong. For someone who had no business in the league he did alright for himself. I remember another hooper, Brett Nelson was supposed to be the second coming but he crashed out.
What 😂😂 what do you even mean by that?? I been watching ball 30 years and Jay was way better then both dudes you just said but still confused about Jeremy Lin and Ricky Rubio to white folks
@@ronnielister1023 All 3 had a little bit of "swag" about them. White Chocolate had waaaaaaay more then the other 2. And less fundamentally strict when he first came in. That's what I mean my guy
Coach Hubie Brown asked Williams to be a more dependable PG. Williams agreed and you can see his turnovers went down his 4th season onward. The downside is that he wasn’t as fun to watch. Really what coach Brown probably said is knock off the street ball.
I agree with everything said in this vid except thar he was the 1st you can easily say pistol pete maravich was the same player but better shooter. But played with the same flare.

If he was playing today his game would translate much better. Ahead of his time
He had flashy "And 1" type passes but he turned the ball over a lot ntm, he was a liability in defense & couldn't shoot
Everybody talks about AI crossing Jordan but I remember White Chocolate crossing the Glove vividly
Yeah,he had Payton looking like a statue frozen in place, but, you could see Payton grinning and laughing about it in the background tho.

You could always tell he was having a blast hooping. His Wooooooo!!! he would yell After some passes was great .

He was awesome!!! Greatly missed, nothing like watching him do his Thing

The Glove resorting to trying to trip White Chocolate will forever be funny 😂
He was one of my favorites back when he played!!!! I actually had his jersey back then❗️😎👍🏽👍🏽
THANK YOU FOR THIS!!!

That's my brother from another mother and my Scorpio buddy!!!!
Love all your videos bro was waiting for the drop yeeeee
Been subbed for years btw
If Kevin Martin can’t be stunted growth, can he be a beautiful game entry? 😭
You should do a one on allonzo trier he was a beast back in highschool and even had a decent stint with the knicks
🔥🔥🔥

Please do one on Randolph Childress bro he was so cold at wake forest
Jason Williams is the equivalent of Jeremy Lin/ Ricky Rubio for white folks. Looooooooved his game. He was just wild asf on the court alot of the time
What 😂😂 what do you even mean by that?? I been watching ball 30 years and Jay was way better then both dudes you just said but still confused about Jeremy Lin and Ricky Rubio to white folks
If he was black he wouldn’t have been as popular.

The two best players in the NBA right now are white 😂
@@33greenleaf I hope you’re not referring to those fat European hams Joker and Luka 😂🤡 Luka is a cone on defense

White chocolate is the poor man’s Rondo 💯😂

Who won the Kings/Grizzlies trade back then Bibby for J-Will?
Kings
Frank Nktilikina?
Jason Williams > Chris Paul
Chris Paul is a more complete player. Man be serious
HELLLLLLL NNNOOOOO!!!!!!
He nice but shot so poorly 4 da kangz tho
Super turnover prone
Jesus Christ is God❤Psalm 23:6
Jason Williams was nice but he was a bust and a disappointment especially being drafted in front the guys he was
Jason himself said he's a bad shooter thats why he concentrated in flashy passing.👍🫡

He was his own worst enemy. If his dedication and work ethic matched his talent, he could’ve been a mega-star.
@@33greenleaf agreed he had that care free Nick young mentality but if j Will had was focused like Steve nash and Stockton 🔥🔥🔥
