Do not adopt any of Michael's traits. The movies show his downfall, he is not a success story, he is a murderer who eventually had the consequences of the life he chose catch up to him.

He is danger to those close to him his loved ones he pretends to be a decent man to his first wife's family but she's killed because of him then he lures Kay and she and the children are almost killed because of his brother Fredo so she gets an abortion refuses to another child with him he's furious but eventually their daughter is killed because of him too he ruined Kays life she was a lovely pre school teacher before him he's rude to his sister a domestic violence victim herself he kills his brother it's all just murder and tragedy I wouldn't glorify it just because he has some money and they have a family dinner once in a while. He dies alone remembering his wives and daughters whose lives he ruined. He's no hero at all neither were some of the other criminals he killed ie the dirty cop and drug dealer but he's not much better.

Do not adopt any of Michael's traits. The movies show his downfall, he is not a success story, he is a murderer who eventually had the consequences of the life he chose catch up to him.
