It's very frustrating to play a fighting game honestly where ppl only rematch if they lose. Makes it even harder for honest players to be at the level they're supposed to be. It should automatically be a 3 set match in ranked. Rematch should only be an option in casual matches.
In Tekken 8 I always expect to be plugged. It still happens like 5-6 timer per ranked session. Super annoying, Wastes my time and I don't get my victory points...
i think tekken should have something like what mortal kombat has, even tho the opponent quits (quitality) u would still get points and the game calls it a win
If they died in the middle of a combo, I keep doing the combo. If they died at the end of it, I do some random arm low move (d1+2 with kazuya or db2 with eddy) and hit them while they're down. It feels satisfying and I don't think it's offensive at all.
I've had to leave games midway because my wife needed help with the kids because they woke up etc. Times like that, I didn't know how long I'd be with them so I'd just switch off my game - I would have been happy to take the L as well as the loss in points. It's not my opponent's problem that I have a family etc. They should have been awarded for staying in the match.
It happens to me almost every promotion match. I’m currently a tenryu so I’m not as good as you, and it still happens at this level. It sucks. I either get plugged or a god tier hwoarang that puts me in a blender.
I think it should set punishments based on disconnection rate so that way it doesn't harm people who disconnect unintentionally while also not rewarding boosters
How is walking back a sign of disrespect now? Man people are getting real soft these days. Plugging is a cowards way out too, so i am not defending him.
These people a closing out of the game right before they lose causing no points to be gained or lost from the match. This is commonly called plugging. It is a bannable offence but the enforcement of it is less than stellar.

It's not that I'm defending the DVJ but if you noticed that the "Failed to establish" message immediately popped up to your game against him and I read that somewhere I just forgot, if that happens, it was really a connection/server issue and unlike when you were against Dragunov and Nina, you'll see that the game froze like in T7 for seconds then the error will appear and they said THAT was the intentional plugging. Though I understand your POV on that since you were winning when the game got disconnected.
As long as there is no punishment for pluggers this is will keep happening. Also there always will be people who rage quit with alt+f4, even if they would lose points anyway.
My GPU was having issues and randomly crashed with an out of vram message, I made sure to friend the xiauyu player on steam just to message them saying it was my b and I wasn't a rager lmao
the Devs should implement that anyone who plugs is an automatic lose and the win be given to the other player. Cuz plugging off is just being a loser, they should man up and accept their defeat, I guess their prides are too high to accept their defeats.
Am new to Tekken and when I do quick matches and get paired with lower ranks I like to just stand there and let them come at me to give them a chance apparently that’s toxic someone gave me a clown award on steam 🤣
Tbh We have to blame the company who made this game abusable as T7 even after servicing and experiencing almost 10 years of previous series. They even added "Amazing Tekken Shop" due to server sustainability and still stick to P2P connection.
it doesnt even get me angry at those randos, its tekken 8 to blame for not setting any measurements to deal with this, let alone having one that rewards it. you cant expect people to behave, rules should exist thats why characters have healthbars instead of just deciding who played the match better in a post game chat.
Paul pisses me off forsure bc all his moves are either armor or his combos he likes to do but I’ll never leave after taking an L bc you learn a lot if you decide to stay.
I think the aggression in T8 promotes this stuff, because of the heat giving you so much that you can win with mashing and if you loss you just plug, its a free ride for pluggers.
Simple fix the player that leaves should have there player turned into a ghost actually given the ghost Ai a purpose and keep the match going and still be considered a promotion if you are promotion bound, also the person who left should lose points for dipping I’m not saying take a whole rank being turned into a bot is way worse, cuz at that point it’s pretty much a free win. It don’t matter how good your ghost is.

Is it that difficult to program the game so that if you close application you get penalized this is such a ridiculous issue in Tekken 8
What's your main in tekken 8?
Don't feel bad, the dragonball community is cancerous as well. I think Db community is far worse than Tekken
Bro not gonna lie, I thought the Jin was going to plug before the last hit connected 😂
That Delay Hopkick Was NASTY, Good Stuff Bro 🤝
i think tekken should have something like what mortal kombat has, even tho the opponent quits (quitality) u would still get points and the game calls it a win
Idk what to do after a roundwin i always feel like they might think im being toxic
yeah people are oversensitive!
If they died in the middle of a combo, I keep doing the combo. If they died at the end of it, I do some random arm low move (d1+2 with kazuya or db2 with eddy) and hit them while they're down. It feels satisfying and I don't think it's offensive at all.
@@MinecraftClub1234chronically male take

If they rage quit do they keep their streak?
I've had to leave games midway because my wife needed help with the kids because they woke up etc. Times like that, I didn't know how long I'd be with them so I'd just switch off my game - I would have been happy to take the L as well as the loss in points. It's not my opponent's problem that I have a family etc. They should have been awarded for staying in the match.
Can't wait to get home and play some tekken plays tekken floating in the air the whole match
It happens to me almost every promotion match. I’m currently a tenryu so I’m not as good as you, and it still happens at this level. It sucks. I either get plugged or a god tier hwoarang that puts me in a blender.
Yo I’m at this EXACT point with Steve at tekken king as soon as someone loses they either leave or plug before it even gets to that point
Man, I need one of your guide for Asuka 🙏
I think it should set punishments based on disconnection rate so that way it doesn't harm people who disconnect unintentionally while also not rewarding boosters
How is walking back a sign of disrespect now? Man people are getting real soft these days.
Plugging is a cowards way out too, so i am not defending him.
Do the characters speak in their native language?
What region is this?
" I guess I'll play paul tonight 😮💨 " lol
Can someone explain this to me? I'm new and I want to keep people from hating me for not knowing basic things 😢
These people a closing out of the game right before they lose causing no points to be gained or lost from the match. This is commonly called plugging. It is a bannable offence but the enforcement of it is less than stellar.
I can't wait to your Fahkumram 😂
We know he's coming back
In martial arts, its called respect, either you doing it after a point or an obvios KO/TKO! Its called respect because the discipline both martial artist show in the competition determine one another effort.❤
I practiced 2 martial arts so far (One active and one semi-active since i got life) and I never really see any offense on doint that in stance....
That’s the exact reason why I quit Tekken rank, I’m sticking to Fujin even tho I know I won’t even get passed Fujin.. LOL
the Devs should implement that anyone who plugs is an automatic lose and the win be given to the other player.
People rq on me in quick match for no reason. Even though you don’t lose anything for losing a match devs need to do something
Tbh We have to blame the company who made this game abusable as T7 even after servicing and experiencing almost 10 years of previous series. They even added "Amazing Tekken Shop" due to server sustainability and still stick to P2P connection.
Yeah this rage-quitting gets worse once you hit ruler ranks.
I knew what was gonna happen at the start damn some people are just toxically depressed
it doesnt even get me angry at those randos, its tekken 8 to blame for not setting any measurements to deal with this, let alone having one that rewards it.
you cant expect people to behave, rules should exist thats why characters have healthbars instead of just deciding who played the match better in a post game chat.
This is why I have crossplay off. From my experience this occurred much less when i wasnt playing against console players anymore.
I'd say it's the other way around.
😂 ironically this is the contrary on console with pc players
Atleast give a cooldown for pluggning, maybe 1st 30 min then 2h then 12h etc or sth, my only fear is tekken crashes for me at times i get an error, tho its 90% of the time during loading screen for a match
your logic is amazing "punish the pluggers!!" "but this game crashes a lot c:" "please dont crash please dont crash"
the only penalty for plugging should be giving the victory to the other player, just that
@@abrahamalviarez5870 i wrote thats my fear, your reading comprehension is amazing. I also never said it crashes "a lot", maybe it does for others but not for me maybe once in a while, not every session. Maybe they could give the penalty once a game has started and not if its canceled at the loading screen, or they could make their game not crash. Anyway i dunno why youre butthurt, maybe youre on your period. Plus giving the victory to the other player could invite more focus on DDOS attacks to disconnect your opponents for free wins. Its all a discussion princess, no need to get all moody and have an attitude
SF6 has a card system, my friend had a bad connection, we were playing in a lobby and it kept disconnecting mid match until it ended up banning us from online for 24 hours xD
What is the button that blocks the grab?
1 2 or 1+2
So do a lot of folks accept matches with people with high DC rates?
If I see anyone over 4% I decline personally.
i have 4% but its because the game crash haha
People holding back vs you usually means they think you need to block and that you're playing mindless or without defense
for everyone playing since bamco wont really give a punishment for rage quitting just a tip if you meet someone trolling or wanting to plug you troll back at them you either troll them and win or suck it up and just play another game, it doesnt matter if they plug what matters is you trolled them
Deathfisting and panic button shoulder after winning rounds is fine but walking backwards is toxic?
I agree that walking back isn't toxic. I do it because I think maybe my opponent had an input issue or something and I wanna give them respect.
As for throwing out death fist or shoulder, as a Paul main, that shit is just automatic. I finish my combos after the round all the time. My opponents do too, and I don't see it as toxic either way.
Yeah its really frustrating to see harada and his team clearly not care what the people think and instead put predatory microtransactions
Lmao what you don’t even have to buy the micro transactions they offer no benefits other than cosmetic. Almost all games have micro transactions
Duh, its referring to when you *do* want to buy something, you have to spend far more than you have to. Blizzard was literally just sued for this practice in overwatch 2
“Predatory” is a strong word to use for optional cosmetics friend
@@BigLeafyTreeyeah cosmetics that we previously had in t7 for free. Lmao
@@stealthexecutor563 Separate arguement. Call it greedy or lazy or something, but calling them “predatory” makes it sound really exaggerated or like you don’t know what words mean
When i get matched with toxic ppl i am gonna be toxic to them aswell specially when im bryan (hatchet)
They only way to deal with pluggers. It's to implement “Low Priority Matches”.
Just like Dota 2, punish 5-10 games against pluggers to be able touch back on normal ranked match.
I almost got Tekken king once but the player I fought plugged... MANNN that's what I get for playing on WiFi lmao
Anyone with yellow percentage in the disconnection rate, i immediately reject them.
I once got plugged by a Shaheen on my promotion match. Freaking Shaheen of all characters.
I dont give two shits if they loose half the player base but this plugging situation is getting out of hand fr why can't they implement a rage quit penalty system like alot of games do this heck f2p games do it like is this that difficult to do 🤷🏾
P.s Congrats on getting paul to emperor mine is still king thx to the pluggers
I was playing Kazuya on the verge of promo and I ran into a devil jin who tbagged after every round win, I lost and knew it was time to take a few days off the game
Wuss
Lol that DJ owned you so bad you took a break and still thinking about it, just chill bro nobody cares about your rank except you lol
@@kakimotoK20and nobody cares what you say. it's perfectly fine to take a break from Tekken people are toxic and do too much. that's when I one and done them AND don't give a rematch lmaoooo
@@suntansuperman598 “and nobody cares what I say” what is the point of this? People don’t care what you say just as much, so why you commenting? You should lose quit this comment section like you do tekken
@@kakimotoK20 Seems like a normal response to me, I would be more concerned if he said that he smashed his tv/pc to bits in a rage than if he decided to take a break from the game for a couple of days. Mans be adding extra information and acting as if the dude has PTSD lol
Honestly after winning a round, and walking backwards, i thought it meant like a respect thing. I didn't think it was disrespectful tbh
Biiiiig reason I'm sticking with Sf6 for the time being. Hopefully when I get enough money for a good gaming PC this shit will be fixed
It is frustrating but there is a report button in the game so make sure to report all pluggers. It should be under Profile in the same lobby that lets you return to standby
*in the same menu. Typo
I play pc mostly on a legion go everynow again only for tekken 8 the game crashes so maybe that's what happening to some of these guys ?
Ken used his "pro money" to buy the judges.W
Why does this look like tekken 7? Also, is that the boss room you fight heihachi in as akuma in tekken 7?
no, absolutely different
Apart from punishing pluggers with losses, they should just stop showing whether the opponent is in promotion/demotion matches. It serves no benefit to show that to anyone other than yourself anyway. At best it's just a way to know when pluggers can cause maximum frustration.
did I end up telling you that I was on promotion for tekken king 6 different times and got plugged on? and that the same thing happened to m for emperor 3 times? I literally stopped playing ranked because of it
it's so frustrating
@@mwkan772 idk if me stomping and ki charging affects it tho LOL
@@superblack898I mean to be fair it’s pretty stupid to ki charge before the last round if you don’t want to be plugged on by people cuz they’ll see it as “oh you wanna be toxic? Then I’ll be toxic right back.” That’s how I think they see it atleast
@@Gregbrotha yeh, is my bad, but it’s still cringe
Ok, plugging means unplugging, gotcha.
152ms 3f delay and 2 frame roll back. 😵💫 HOW ARE Y'ALL PLAYING!
People in FGC sometimes get enslaved by such dumb hidden rules it makes me think that the average age of the community is like 12 to 15 yo, it's just a game move on and worst than that it's a match worth nothing, no money on the line, no trophy, no spot in a great competition.
Never seem a community so easily triggered.
It's something people like to work towards. It's a title that you worked towards and earned. Just because it's dumb to you doesn't mean it is for everyone else. You put your heart in soul into learning a character, and then you finally get to the promotion match after putting in all that time and effort, just for someone to plug on you. That is so annoying.
Bro we need a punish like if you plugger you dont play online by a time
damn that dragunov really ducked every single time he got hit
I feel ya, lately people dont even accept rematches when they lose
People are too concerned about their ranked points, it's pretty sad
People not rematching in ranked used to bother me too, but then I realized it's a dumb thing to get upset about. Just move on. Nobody is owed a rematch. 🤷♂️
@@richardsinclair7661 i mostly view it as a respect/street cred sort of thing. like avoiding confrontations and such or not showing up to a fight at school and just running away. even when i get my ass absolutely beat i still dont ragequit and will still rematch. yes i am an adult saying this :P
Yesterday i lost my 23 win streak after my Promo against a chainsaw spamming alisa ....i just accepted it 🤙🏻🤷🏼♂️

I have played you Nemesis as XANDERLOOPER
You're impressive buddy
Btw the devil jin u met i met him once and he's hacking, he was using auto crouch
I got a lot of Heavy Hitters on my Friends List People Rage Quit on us all the time in Player Match. Its so normal that we have to play like we at a lower Level so that People will Play with Us. 05:25 totally unrelated, but this was clean
I played with that devil Jin and he also plugged on me lol he was on a fake 20 win streak.
when playin tekken ranked im like doin a prayer every time im on a promo not to win but to at least dont get RQ right in my face...thats crazy even after all this time still no punishment for those behaviors...wtf are they doin come on...how many of us just closed the game because of that you doin well and some fucker who just cant take a loss destroys all of your effort for nothing..
Do you know tonicwater
my humble opinion is simply this: people like this will continue to be around wither we like it or not, so I only want to be rewarded the win and the points if they quit, this way they will feel stupid for leaving because they just gave you the win, which is perfect for idiots like that :) at least i don't have to deal with loss of time points and not playing with real players that i actually want a challenge from to become better.
Simple solution demote the plugger after its confirmed intentional. Like not on first offense due to game crashes and such. On a promo match no matter a game crash or not give the promo. These were intentional 💯
Tekken 5 D.R.
You would get penalized 1000 points for plugging.
My power went out one and it counted me for plugging.
I was pissed lost my Rajin rank for it.
150 ping 3frame delay can be very frustrating. Especially when he cant punish unsafe moves because of how bad the input delay is. It's like giving out rank points without earning it. I often quit if the opponent doesnt agree to a draw because of how unplayable the game is. My sign that I don't wanna play you/please draw is crouch down twice, stand still, and walk backwards lol... I don't blame the dude. Sorry about your promo.
Bullshit. All of them had plenty of time to quit, including when they were winning. But they only quit when he was about to land the winning blow?
There's no excuse, they're soft little bitches that can't handle a loss.
Plug or maybe just a Polaris crash? Into the Stratosphere and Fallen Destiny both have crashing issues, way more on PC though, but it couldve been just that. Nobody plugs when they have that much HP left.
But plug everytime is promo?i don't think that's a coincidence
