- Some of the best Buffalo Sabres' years were in the black & red uniforms. On November 7, 2022 the Buffalo Sabres revealed the new black and red third jerseys the team will don in the 2022-23 season. Relive some of the best moments of the jersey the new thirds were modeled after, the primary uniforms the Sabres wore from 1996 until 2006.

The black and red classic uniforms were pretty nice the black and red fits well together as colors but I definitely perfer the the uniforms now with the blue and gold cause its more of a new state of style

Never forget my dad surprised me with 100 level tickets for the very first time for that JP Dumont OT goal I could see Pyatts pass deflect up in the air exactly level to my eye sight where my row was and I telegraphed the puck fluttering over Emerys shoulder it is the greatest in-game memory I've ever had (so far)

I'm a Bruins fan but Buff should have won the Cup in 2006 but injuries derailed them in conf final vs Canes. Sabres would have beaten Oilers in 5.
