He and Alexis Koerner had a pair of matching Martin guitars bought for them when they toured with a well known cabaret singer as her accompanists, but whose name eludes me. Koerner is supposed to have sold his to Martin Carthy and Graham took his to a party where he was drunk enough to leave with the wrong guitar-the one you see on the cover of 'folk blues and beyond.Or at least, that's what I remember hearing.
Never knew this clip existed. Saw Davy Graham back in 1968 at Cousins Club, London. Blew me away!
I been trying to find this artist FOREVER!
Bought this film recently ( the servant by joseph losey) and its brilliant. Was suprised to see DaveyGraham playing in nicks diner!
So good
I wish we had it in split screen showing Davey Graham,s hands!
Brilliant, Davy Graham & James Fox!
I wish there was a more full version of this
Can someone tell me whether he's playing Big Bill Broonzy's Martin 00028 or is the fact that they both have that inlay on the head just coincidence?!
