Too funny...I remember her as the Spanish princess in the process of marrying (I think) Blackadder's master, the prince played by Hugh Laurie (or Blackadder himself).
and so they bloody well should be- sexual harassment made a lot of women's lives a misery, but a man would never get that unless he was treated like JUST an empty-headed piece of ass.
Women's attitudes at that time (as portrayed in these comedies, at any rate) are completely nonsensical. They appear to put up with constant sexual harrassment in good humour then go ballistic just because a guy with a girlfriend asks them out!
This is why it took so long for the 'Me too' movement to begin- sexual harassment was treated as comedy by the male entertainment industry for decades- they implied most women liked it but I doubt any of them did, but they needed their jobs. Btw Paul, you're no oil painting yourself.
Never saw the second series - THANK YOU
Professor Sprout! This is the youngest I've seen Miriam Margolyes. She was so good in Blackadder too.

Haha, Duncan could be the first wannabe rapist who got thrashed well before the act. Alas, Collier got what he wanted Marolynn.
ol' Paul's pro-rape stance is wee bit indelicate methinks
It's comedy, that's all. From the days when people didn't take everything mega-seriously. And frankly, I wish I was back there now.
