André Thank you mate, appreciate it. I have been maining Alisa since Tekken 6 release and been grinding her ever since. I still learn more about her as well, i guess it’s impossible to reach any limit in Tekken of how good you can become. Also i think it’s interesting to see how much age will affect ones gameplay, i will be 40 this year and i have never felt better in Tekken after all these years since i first started playing tekken at the arcades as a 14 year old kid. My base playstyle is deeply anchored to my oldschool tekken playstyle, and that’s probably why if you notice that i’m taking a lot of advantage of the fundamentals in Tekken like quickrolls, ‘’play dead’’ low parrys, countermoves, walljumps, special grabs, mixups, 50/50 setups, counter hits, etc + combining all this with intentionally developing a rather offensive unorthodocs Alisa playstyle while allways trying to go for the most safe, optimal and high dmg combos from every launchers and doing a lot of unexpected moves in between as well, this really has helped me to push the limits of my capabilities i think. At this point the ‘’last’’ piece of the puzzle for me is to take a deepdive into framedata and character knowledge and that is when i think my true potential will be unlocked, up until this point, advanced framedata has not been on the agenda for me, the main focus up until now has been strickly on getting to know Alisa’s movesets and combos in and out while at the same time playing her as offensive as possible. With this offensive playstyle up until now i have never placed lower than 3rd place in any major national offline tekken tournaments i have ever entered, i have won some and lost some but never placed lower than 3rd place with this Alisa playstyle. I just started playing Tekken 7 two days ago and am going with Alisa, and it's so difficult starting off. I really can't apply what I'm trying in practice to real matches and I feel like I'm losing to everyone, especially since a lot of people just spam as much as they can. Really awesome video, I don't even want to imagine how long it took you to get this proficient with Alisa.
ChromaLULW Thank you friend. I can give you some advice to get you going in 5 simple steps. 1: Go into practice mode and learn Alisa’s movelist, repeat repeat repeat and memorize. 2: Go into practice mode and learn her basic juggles/combos on OPEN STAGES with no walls. Search > HurtboxTV Alisa Combos here on TH-cam and only focus on the easiest basic open stage juggles. 3: Go into options and turn the difficulty level on easy and 3 round matches, now play Arcade mode and continue practice those launchers, juggles you have learned but doing it now vs a moving CPU which is easy to launch up in the air because of the easy difficulty setting. 4: Now that you know the basic juggles, it’s time to advance and learn some wall combos, searchHurtboxTV Alisa combos again and continue learning bit by bit those wallcombos. ( I personally have learned most of the Alisa stuff by my self all the way back since Tekken 6 but it truly helps to watch other Alisa players play as well to get some new inspiration and to learn new tricks. 5: Continue to go inn and out of practice mode, Arcade mode and treasure Battle and just continue to repeat all the stuff you have learned up until now and when you feel that you nail those combos/juggles it’s time to test your skills vs human opponent in Online Ranked matches. Also don’t care to much if you win or lose, just have fun! You will experience over time that you will brake new barriers, you will stagnate, you will even have setbacks and get beaten over and over but there is nothing more rewarding than when you truly start to understand this highly complex fighting game and start beating ass! 😎 Good luck and keep it up! 👊🏻

TheWutang1995 Np bro. The input is just BT 3+4 then you can do a pretty good 66 i’sh dmg combo (open stage) after that if it lands or you can 100% safe it out by doing BT 3+4, 1+2
F.w Fortnite It’s a universal move every character in Tekken has, when you stand close to the wall just tap (back, back, up+back) It’s not in the moves list btw, secret move 😉
F.w Fortnite Yup, that walljump move has been in the tekken series for as long as i can remember. Alisa is the only character though who can jump such a far distance. Most characters has an unique walljump, if you look at my new Julia vs Devil Jin video, i’m doing that walljump with Julia aswell, you can see a huge difference in Julia’s walljump and Alisa’s

I’m not so good at making tutorials and stuff like that so i let my gameplay speak to you instead. I’m probably not the best Alisa player in the world but i got tons of experience with her dating back allmost 10 years now since i started to main this character, i allways try to optimize my gameplay and to maximize my dmg output in every situation so these videos might be ideal for people who wants to learn her. If you notice i might use some high risk high reward moves from time to time which might be risky in offline tournament settings but tbh Tekken has allways been about risk and reward, the trick is to know exactly when to risk it all and when not to.( Edit: btw i have proven that my Alisa playstyle works in offline tournament setting as i have never placed lower than 3rd place in any offline tekken tournament i have entered) It’s all about the mind games man;) Stay tuned for more Alisa gameplay later down the road and just more Tekken in general, right now i’m having a blast with Ganryu 😁

Appreciate it, gotta keep on uploading content when i have the time, these corona times has been tough so havn’t really had the time or energy to make TH-cam content these past months but i will be back with more Tekken stuff and probably some The Last Of Us multiplayer i play now and then. About the combos, this is something you have to put some time into and it will eventually go on auto-pilot, it’s important to get to know the stages well and be aware of the distance from where you start the combos to the walls, this way you will get the most out of the combo damage (which btw Alisa lacks compared to many characters in Tekken 7) and at the same time by getting used to the distance to the walls you will minimize the risk of messing up the combos and you will have a greater chance to capitalize on your wallpressure, frame-traps etc.. The way i do it, i follow certain rules so it’s easyer to remember the combos and by doing this i will also know when i have to ‘’pull the emergency break’’ and settle for a safer less risky combo instead. First up, just to get this out of the way, you probably know this allready but if you are far away from the walls, allways go for one of the better combos you would use on stages without walls. Allways keep this in mind. There are max damage combos with walls and without walls, mostly determined by the combo ender (at least on open stage, the strongest combo ender on open stage is allways D+3,1 To make it easyer to remember and to put things in perspective, i like to think of it like this >> One full combo with wallsplat has normally 4 sequences (it can be more if you resplat the wallsplats etc) but i’m not gonna get into that now. One full combo without walls has normally 3 sequences. (Examples) Open stage combo 1st sequence (Launch) 2nd sequence (Combo + Bounce) 3rd sequence (Combo Ender) Combo with walls 1st sequence (Launch) 2nd sequence (Combo + Bounce) 3rd sequence (Combo Extender) 4th sequence (Combo Ender) After a bunch of the different launchers Alisa has you can use the same exact combo right after launch. You have a lot of options after sequence 1 and 2. And in between and at the end you have decissions you need to take to get the most out of your combos, you need to switch these up and deside what (Bounce Move) to use and which (Combo Extender) you need to use based on the distance to the wall or no wall. (Sequence 1 and 2 with or without walls) In these launchers which are probably some of the most used launchers from Alisa you can allways use the same inputs in the 2nd sequence with or without walls pretty much UF+4,4 launch/ws123 (Bounce) Lowparry/ws123 (Bounce) b+4 Counterhit/ws123 (Bounce) 1+2 launch/ws123 (Bounce) B+3+4 launch/ws123 (Bounce) DF+2 launch/ws123 (Bounce) (Also keep in mind, after these two sequences in all the combos above you can allways use ragedrive to get a really nice high dmg ragedrive combo) After these first two sequences Without walls (example) Stages without walls or too far away from the walls which can not be reached, the combo you should use most of the time after ws123 from all the combos above is > D+4~1+2, D+3,1 this is pretty much the standard staple combo you allways should use on open stages or far away from walls. With walls (example) With walls on all the ws123 combos above depending on the range from the walls (at this point) you have to analyze and determine what moves to do in the last remaining sequences of the combo to reach the walls for a potential combo extender into wallsplat or a combo-ender near the wall etc.. Here you need to think about what (Bounce) move you need to use, if they are ‘’pretty far away’’ i usually use B+2,4 as (Bounce) and then (While Running 3,4) as (Combo Extender) to get the wallsplat. If they are not that far away from the wall but still a good distance, you can for instance use (4) instead of B+2,4 as (Bounce) to reduce the length of the combo so you wont mess it up at the end of the combo. These Bounce moves can also be used as wallsplat moves if you are close to the walls but you probably know this allready 👍🏻 Combo Extenders i use While Running 3,4 B+2,4 (close to the wall) D+3,4 (Very hard) Combo Extender + Combo Ender (all in one) B+4,4~3+4~1,2,1,3+4 Combo Ender near the wall i use mostly F,F+1+2 Combo Ender on Wallsplat i use mostly 1,2~F+1+2 Switch it up. Use all kinds of different combos, setups and moves when you have nailed at least some of these most important combos. To go 100% on auto pilot is no good as your opponents can read you more easely. Some of the combos and moves in this video are a bit outdated, this is my T7 Alisa one year ago, i have optimized my combo dmg and have gotten a better sense of spacing from launch to wall to get the best and safest combos out of it + better oki dmg. If you check back i’m gonna upload more Alisa stuff as soon as i have the time with probably some of the best gameplay i have ever recorded. If you want the notations from any of the combos in this video give me the timeline and i will write down the notations for you
Why dont you use rising 123? There was the opportunity in the first match where I thought you'd've done it (when you ducked the Geese rage art) but you decided on U44. Any reasons? Edit: IDK the proper term for rising, so if someone could educate me on the input terminology for Tekken (quarter circle, rising, ETC) in their shortened form that would be Epic (I thought I saw WS in a combo video before???)
That’s allright, i’m not an expert on Tekken notations my self tbh. I have seen people in the Tekken community use both termonologys WR and WS for (While Rising) I personally preffer WR for (While Rising) and use (R) for (While Running) The reason why i was not using WR123 while ducking that Geese Rageart in the first match is because WR123 is not a natural combo, that string should only be used when you have the opponent in the air, good players will interupt the WR123 combo
And it spins the opponent around. It's a little bit difficult to hit lows / mids that way, unless you do b2,4 that sends them into tailspin. Besides, combos usually don't connect if the opponent is facing you, so in Alisa case, you're best off with wr1,2 and then juggle to tailspin.

Honestly tho,if you play in the asia region(where i play) you get these type of opponents or a little better than them in green ranks,you still play pretty good though

It's situational, in the first clip that Geese player landed in a kinda awkward position because of the wall so i "pulled the trigger" and went with b,2,4. Usually they land much further away making it hard to follow up. Edit: d+3 usually hits while their still on the ground then mix up d/f 1+2 or wr 1+2

The thing about good Kazuya players is that they can blockpunish and launch on block against every low Alisa has exept db+3. I agree that generally speaking Alisa is a stronger character than Kazuya

HaNoDy27 Thank you. I’m glad to provide you guys with Alisa gameplay so everyone can just pick up some of the stuff i’m doing with her. I’m not so good at making tutorials and stuff like that so i let my gameplay speak to you instead.
I’m probably not the best Alisa player in the world but i got tons of experience with her dating back allmost 10 years now since i started to main this character, i allways try to optimize my gameplay and to maximize my dmg output in every situation so these videos might be ideal for people who wants to learn her.
If you notice i might use some high risk high reward moves from time to time which might be risky in offline tournament settings but tbh Tekken has allways been about risk and reward, the trick is to know exactly when to risk it all and when not to.( Edit: btw i have proven that my Alisa playstyle works in offline tournament setting as i have never placed lower than 3rd place in any offline tekken tournament i have entered) It’s all about the mind games man;)

James Thomas Hehe, i don’t care about likes and views here on TH-cam or in any sosial media. To be honest all my tekken vids i upload and all my gameplay montages and stuff was mostly, first and foremost intended for my self and my friends i grew up with and then when Tekken 7 came out my channel started to grow a little bit more. Sometimes if i take a break from Tekken or any game i’m into i can just watch a couple of vids i uploaded and jump right back in where i left.

Appreciate it, gotta keep on uploading content when i have the time, these corona times has been tough so havn’t really had the time or energy to make TH-cam content these past months but i will be back with more Tekken stuff and probably some The Last Of Us multiplayer i play now and then.
About the combos, this is something you have to put some time into and it will eventually go on auto-pilot, it’s important to get to know the stages well and be aware of the distance from where you start the combos to the walls, this way you will get the most out of the combo damage (which btw Alisa lacks compared to many characters in Tekken 7) and at the same time by getting used to the distance to the walls you will minimize the risk of messing up the combos and you will have a greater chance to capitalize on your wallpressure, frame-traps etc..
The way i do it, i follow certain rules so it’s easyer to remember the combos and by doing this i will also know when i have to ‘’pull the emergency break’’ and settle for a safer less risky combo instead.
First up, just to get this out of the way, you probably know this allready but if you are far away from the walls, allways go for one of the better combos you would use on stages without walls. Allways keep this in mind. There are max damage combos with walls and without walls, mostly determined by the combo ender (at least on open stage, the strongest combo ender on open stage is allways D+3,1
To make it easyer to remember and to put things in perspective, i like to think of it like this >>
One full combo with wallsplat has normally 4 sequences (it can be more if you resplat the wallsplats etc) but i’m not gonna get into that now.
One full combo without walls has normally 3 sequences.
(Examples)
Open stage combo
1st sequence (Launch)
2nd sequence (Combo + Bounce)
3rd sequence (Combo Ender)
Combo with walls
1st sequence (Launch)
2nd sequence (Combo + Bounce)
3rd sequence (Combo Extender)
4th sequence (Combo Ender)
After a bunch of the different launchers Alisa has you can use the same exact combo right after launch. You have a lot of options after sequence 1 and 2. And in between and at the end you have decissions you need to take to get the most out of your combos, you need to switch these up and deside what (Bounce Move) to use and which (Combo Extender) you need to use based on the distance to the wall or no wall.
(Sequence 1 and 2 with or without walls)
In these launchers which are probably some of the most used launchers from Alisa you can allways use the same inputs in the 2nd sequence with or without walls pretty much
UF+4,4 launch/ws123 (Bounce)
Lowparry/ws123 (Bounce)
b+4 Counterhit/ws123 (Bounce)
1+2 launch/ws123 (Bounce)
B+3+4 launch/ws123 (Bounce)
DF+2 launch/ws123 (Bounce)
(Also keep in mind, after these two sequences in all the combos above you can allways use ragedrive to get a really nice high dmg ragedrive combo)
After these first two sequences
Without walls (example)
Stages without walls or too far away from the walls which can not be reached, the combo you should use most of the time after ws123 from all the combos above is >
D+4~1+2, D+3,1 this is pretty much the standard staple combo you allways should use on open stages or far away from walls.
With walls (example)
With walls on all the ws123 combos above depending on the range from the walls (at this point) you have to analyze and determine what moves to do in the last remaining sequences of the combo to reach the walls for a potential combo extender into wallsplat or a combo-ender near the wall etc..
Here you need to think about what (Bounce) move you need to use, if they are ‘’pretty far away’’ i usually use B+2,4 as (Bounce) and then (While Running 3,4) as (Combo Extender) to get the wallsplat.
If they are not that far away from the wall but still a good distance, you can for instance use (4) instead of B+2,4 as (Bounce) to reduce the length of the combo so you wont mess it up at the end of the combo. These Bounce moves can also be used as wallsplat moves if you are close to the walls but you probably know this allready 👍🏻
Combo Extenders i use
While Running 3,4
B+2,4 (close to the wall)
D+3,4 (Very hard)
Combo Extender + Combo Ender (all in one)
B+4,4~3+4~1,2,1,3+4
Combo Ender near the wall i use mostly F,F+1+2
Combo Ender on Wallsplat i use mostly 1,2~F+1+2
Switch it up.
Use all kinds of different combos, setups and moves when you have nailed at least some of these most important combos. To go 100% on auto pilot is no good as your opponents can read you more easely.

Jeffrey Arnaiz Thank you friend. Some of the combos and moves in this video are a bit outdated, this is my T7 Alisa one year ago, i have optimized my combo dmg and have gotten a better sense of spacing from launch to wall to get the best and safest combos out of it + better oki dmg.
If you check back i’m gonna upload more Alisa stuff as soon as i have the time with probably some of the best gameplay i have ever recorded.

Why dont you use rising 123? There was the opportunity in the first match where I thought you'd've done it (when you ducked the Geese rage art) but you decided on U44. Any reasons?
Edit: IDK the proper term for rising, so if someone could educate me on the input terminology for Tekken (quarter circle, rising, ETC) in their shortened form that would be Epic (I thought I saw WS in a combo video before???)
That’s allright, i’m not an expert on Tekken notations my self tbh.
I have seen people in the Tekken community use both termonologys WR and WS for (While Rising)
I personally preffer WR for (While Rising) and use (R) for (While Running)
The reason why i was not using WR123 while ducking that Geese Rageart in the first match is because WR123 is not a natural combo, that string should only be used when you have the opponent in the air, good players will interupt the WR123 combo
And it spins the opponent around. It's a little bit difficult to hit lows / mids that way, unless you do b2,4 that sends them into tailspin.
Besides, combos usually don't connect if the opponent is facing you, so in Alisa case, you're best off with wr1,2 and then juggle to tailspin.

What are the mixups after the f 3 2 combo on the very first round?
It's situational, in the first clip that Geese player landed in a kinda awkward position because of the wall so i "pulled the trigger" and went with b,2,4. Usually they land much further away making it hard to follow up. Edit: d+3 usually hits while their still on the ground then mix up d/f 1+2 or wr 1+2
