Looking back on your old animations, the way that you animated the characters is really slow but it is super accurate to very slow and laggy servers so kudos to that.
This is the best video ever made.... Because the part where they're in space, and neon was like, "yep, we beaten the game, let's just all chill out here in space when it's time to go home, overall, this is fine".
If they are going to make online they should limit their party into 3 or 4 members. Plus more custom character races (Like hedgehog, fox, echinda, cat, racoon, wolf for example)
My dream Sonic ROM hack is one where you get to play through Sonic 2 with all of your friends and team up on bosses. The scene at 2:27 perfectly encapsulates EXACTLY how i would want it to be.
