Love that Drew has starred in a classic with Goldie Hawn, she needs to do one with Kate. Love their best friendship so much, love their fashion and hair here. Ever notice Kate can’t get though virtually any conversation without talking about her mom. It has to be the most enmeshed mother daughter relationship in all of Hollywood and that is saying a lot given the Kardashian girls to Kris Jenner or the Hadid girls to Yolanda Foster. Parental alienation syndrome can do that to kids of a narcissistic parent. The alienating narcissistic parent (Goldie Hawn) becomes all good to the child while the targeted parent (Bill Hudson) is seen as all bad. Not saying it is Kate’s fault at all but man did her mom do a mind trip on her and Oliver for the last 20+ years. I think Oliver just moved back in with Goldie. Enmeshed.

PAS is similar to Stockholm Syndrome where hostages align with their hostage taker to survive. In PAS the child aligns with the narcissistic parent and reject the targeted parent as all bad or worthless.
As a psychologist I'd say you don't know what you're talking about. Kate & Oliver's birth father had nothing to do w them. Kurt Russell stepped up & became their "dad" in every way! Do you know Ms Hawn, her ex husband, or Mr Russell? Please do not play "amateur shrink"! Goldie is a wonderful person. Kate & Oliver never lacked love, caring or ANY of the essential things necessary to raise well adjusted children! Where did YOU get YOUR PHD in psychology? Never saw anyone by YOUR name in any of my psych classes!
