Once you get your base set you should set a block on either side of the wall and run a string line from end to end like you were building a traditional concrete block or brick wall. This allows you to ensure the wall is straight/level without constantly checking it. Especially on long straight walls. Just make sure the line is not touching the block anywhere as it will compromise your measurements.
I have the bl450 paid for itself in 2 jobs. what a backsaver.

What about the recession? I haven't noticed any on the building side. Maybe lack of laborers because it seems that people don't want to work anymore.

I could see using the 3 block lifter if it was a long run but using the mini lifting one block?
Thanks for watching! We use the BL-180 for not only lifting singular blocks but for setting blocks on your first course so it is installed properly and with minimal physical strain.
