Chief Okocha, If you are knowledgeable enough, you will know that the National Assembly cannot just by resolution remove the responsibility of conducting Local Government Council Elections from the State Independent Electoral Commission, without amending the Consideration.
Okocha Sir, if you are interested in Local Government Autonomy and insisting that the three tiers of Government should conduct it affairs without intervention from the other, then INEC should not be the agency to conduct Local Government Elections, so that what you complained against the SIEC will not be the case of INEC and the Federal Government too. Remember, we are talking about Autonomy; the reason for fettering the powers of the State Government.
