If you have Error 4 and you connections are OK, make sure your LCD is getting power from the Arduino or they both have shared power source. Arduino must set this pin HIGH in order to write.

Hey there! My LCD just shows black boxes irrespective of what command I try. I checked my enable pin and it's connected to Vcc properly. The issue is persistent.
Buy i2c module. Connect with i2C. I2c required only 4 wire connection.
This will work perfectly to connect all the 12 wires, potetio meter. Then only it will work. If any one of the wire loose connections it won't work.

Hello and Thank you very much very good solution, but I worriy about problem occur during the program is running if we reset board the process will also restart that cause me very big problem now I still can't find the solution yet.

@@TeachMeSomething just today sir, I found my jumper cable is not fit to both LCD I2C pins and Arduino UNO then I build up the new cable with soldering pin both side the problem disappeared lol because your video, Thank you very very much 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Solder pins properly.
Avoid loose connection in rs, en, r/w pin
First line working properly means check your program. Did you give program for second line or you have given empty.
