The hip follows the basketball. Basketball is faster than your hip as a reaction. The defense if there any good they should know this. In a stationary posture lean forward and push the basketball down with your shoulders then use your dribbling arm to place the ball. People who think they know this are utilizing a tool most people don't.
it shifts the momentum of the defender to go in the opposite direction of the player. As the player sets it up with the scissor step he changes direction but the defender is still in a neutral stance Allen Iverson, Kyrie Irving, Jamal Crawford etc all use a similar style of movement
Basically in order to split the defense make a setting to go both ways. It means a tighter and tighter defense depending on how bothersome the offensive player's footing is.
some how these drills are more for beginners. for seasoned ball handlers, these moves are quite natural. and tbh i find it hard to 'use the move' in the game. its normally a very natural and read the defender when i try to past someone
thats cos you're watching at a 120 frame per second slow mo with a rewind function. Referees aren't likely to call him on such a slight hand under ball movement.
@@sheepshagger im sorry did you say slight hand under ball movement? His palm is almost completely under the ball. Im a referee abd i would call that every day of the week.
@@notshotta i'm sure you'll agree that it's not pokemon, you're not gonna catch them all.... all depends on where YOU the referee will be at that point in time. Likely, he's gonna get away with it. It's great you've got such attention to detail tbh, thanks for pointing that mistake out.
Well, asians are not very very focused on sports unlike the usa you can skip college and pursue a career in sports. Here in asia academics are much important than sports. 1. 컨택할때 자연스럽게 나와야하는 무브 인거같고
2. 이 기술은 수비수의 반응에따라 다르게 플레이하면 엄청날거같고
3. 슛이좋으면 상당히 막기 까다로울거같네요;;
손목 스냅이랑 손 끝이 굉장히 깔끔하네요 역시 이번 영상도 굿

Pretty crazy cross over. I am excited for him. I would be worried though which foot you push off of so you don't telegraph your direction.
this is really effective if you have a tight and simple killer cross over like I usually do. have been doing this and getting by defenders easy
Thanks a lot for this video and it’s details
All your’s video is really nice technical and interesting and very well, I support it 👍👍👍👍👍 10⭐️
Very nice, add a ✋ fake to the shot hesi to add more of a realistic shot fake for the biting defender.
