Hey everybody. I'm Harry Caray's ghost and I just want to say to Costas that I will no longer go out to dinner with him for calling me out on that ball player's nationality error. So, don't come to my grave begging me to go out to dinner with you ever again !!
So, I know this is morbid...but the night the announced Harry Caray died I was dealing with some domestic violence & the cops were throwing out my ex. The cops sat on the sofa to reflect on his passing as the ex was packing his things. Memories.
I thought this was just a normal guy, until I walked away from my computer screen and heard his voice without seeing him, then all of a sudden I heard the voice of a radio god!
That was actually a great Harry Caray impression!

Lol, everytime I look at Bob Costas I remember turning on the TV to the winter olympics or whatever it was and he comes on the screen looking all fucked up with pink eye in both eyes. Lmao.
I remember watching that game Carey made the Jose Vicaino comment on WGN when I was a kid. Even though I was too young to understand what was going on, I could tell something was wrong based on Steve Stone's prolonged, awkward silence. There were a lot of moments like that later in Carey's career. He was messing up player's names so often, Stone just gave up on even trying to correct him.
I’d like to hang out with Bob for just one day and just listen to him tell stories! Outstanding stuff!
