So why choose this over the bimmer? The gripes seem to more of old tech tech reasons. Why not the new IS500 that is completely updated or get a manual B58 Supra?

Cuz this car was only 16,000$ ;)

I had a ‘06 350 and my touchscreen was fine, very responsive. I thought you were going to say the bluetooth, because it always sucked. 😞🤣 The seats (and ride quality) were the few negatives associated with the ISF. The car is definitely daily-able, but you will get beaten up a bit. Thanks for posting!

You should be able to get rid of steering wheel squeak while retracting/extending by cycling the wheel all the way in and out, up and down a few times

Thank you! I’ll give that a shot

I find the “there’s no manual option” hilarious 😂
Pro drivers aren’t even in traditional manual shift cars now, they’re only in paddle shifts/up and down shifters as computers shift far faster than a human.
Would be the equivalent of someone saying “I wish it didn’t have power steering, so I can feel the road” 😂

The ISF would have been great if it came in a manual transmission option as well and I stand by that. The paddles are cool but kinda get boring after a while… the isf lacks engagement

23 RCF owner and Sarasota native here! Nice ISF! Do you guys ever go to Sarasota cars and coffee at UTC?

If it the ISF were manual it wouldnt have been as quick. 0.1 of a second upshift is hard to beat in a manual (no matter how good of a shifter you are).
Plus people dont drive manuals anymore. It sucks really because the ISF is the only auto ive ever bought that wasnt a manual transmission.
    Solid reasons though.

Green Lighting is trash, but you can change out the leds, the aftermarket support is slim and expensive compared to Nissan ,Honda, Toyota ect. But that just means you need to think outside the box, fab more, youre only limited to your skill imagination and bank account , there is shit ton of things you can do. A manual swap and a hand break would be a blast, but I'm to lazy to do the swap and to broke to pay for it, the arm rest is "Meh" and you may be the first person to complain about seat comfort vs the suspension being rough. And it's not so much an ISF thing but lexis in general doesn't have as much aftermarket support, I was goin to use a screen interface like grom or sumthing, but screen works pretty well and Bluetooth music is controlled via hard buttons, so I'm holding off.

Your the first one that complained about the seats, i think you should sell it.

Seats are super stiff. They hold you in place but they’re super uncomfortable imo

Slight correction to your production numbers - over 12,000 made globally between 2008 - 2014. 5000 some-odd number sold in the America's.

🙄 the overly complex centre armrest 🙄…it’s like that because there’s an EXTRA cup holder in there!!!
I am certain now that you know jack squat about this car or any car for that matter.

    • @Louie_Rodriguez
      @Louie_Rodriguez  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

I don’t know everything but I do know a lot about the car. With that being said, the armrest is so stupid and overly complex and cheap
