This is my third machine and what I like is the good coffee, easy milk and small footprint. If you make coffees for the household before you rush out the door to work, this is a great machine to help you do that.
I own this machine as a starter to focus on latte art. It steamed milk very well. I might upgrade my machine in future into a dual boiler machine to get better taste and better art.
I advise NO ONE to remove the plastic as this helps distribute the coffee cleaner and delivers a better crema. Removing the plastic makes the coffee spit out inconsistently, and additionally I have tried different 54mm portafilters with a double spout on this machine and the coffee also spits out in a mess (just like this video too @ 4:13 - your coffee came out bad). I don't know why this why you make this a helpful advice when it really isn't! I have this machine for over a year and have created really good coffee and latte art just by using the included aluminium portafilter. Since I have removed the plastic, the coffee not only gives a terrible crema result but the taste is somewhat horrible and sour. Furthermore, it is not that simple as shown on the video to remove the plastic which I had learnt the hard way, where I had to then purchase a replacement 54mm double spout portafilter online - and this was terrible on this machine even if you super fine tune your breville settings and grind, it destroys the crema and doesn't completely work on this machine. I then had to purchase the official 54mm breville one which appears the same as the stock one, but it is heavier, more premium and does an exceptional job as the stock. So NO, this tip of removing the plastic should NOT BE ADVISED and is there for the reason why they have it there in the first place.
At first I really hated the pressurizes basket which my machine only provided. So I bought an standard basket with bottomless portafilter. Now after 3 months, I would say, If you have good coffee beans and good grinder, use standard. If you have mediocre coffee or grinder, the pressurized makes decent coffee for your latte or cappuccino.
Pressurized basket do help with pre-ground or older coffee. However they help more visually than they do with flavour in cup. Always feel its best to grind on demand and have fresh locally roasted coffee.
Purchased a Breville Bambino Plus and had a few issues with it so called customer service. OMG! What a nightmare. The worst customer service department i have ever encountered in the history of customer service. Would never ever purchase a product from Breville ever again. They actually said and i quote. What do you expect for our cheapest machine, we have many other ones that are more expensive. Basically saying we bought the worst machine on their platform so what do you want for 600 dollars. They do not stand behind their product. Just brutal!
@@CoffeePartsTV Your most welcome Pedro, I'll be placing another coffee parts order in a few weeks, for 2x straight wall handles, 1 with a single spout and the other with 2 spouts :)
What basket would you recommend for this? I was told to get Pullman by Mitch from the Brew Lab, but you’re out of stock. I’d like to get a collar and maybe a constant pressure tamper, so recommendations from your on-line shop for a full system would be appreciated. I like stronger coffees, so the 15g is not what I’d like to look at. Thanks.
Damn wish I found this video earlier, I ordered a single wall basket separately because the descriptions on most stores and the aus breville website say these only include 2 double walled filters. Assuming they include both types of baskets Australia-wide too now like they started doing in the UK a while ago.
awesome video, with great content!!!! i have thecnical question about machine. Disassembling the machine i see a tube from 3 way to main board PCB directly!!!! you help me about the function of this tube connection???
I just got this machine and I followed all the instructions for the first time use. A couple days later I tried to used it again and the one cup and steamer buttons are flashing and keep throwing water and doesn’t get ready to started the coffee process. So I reas the instructions but I’m confused, how do you turn it on and off and what is happening with my new machine? 😢 if someone have any idea I’ll appreciate it your help! 🙏🏻
Hi Jessie, If you turn on the machine and the lights keep flashing and dont go solid. Some people are finding they haven't turn the steam knob completely to the off position, you'll turn the knob and here a slight click to know its in the off position this will insure the machine starts up correctly :) Hope that helps
Good job on the review. Some of these reviews people talk so much but you started with actually doing it, so this was very helpful! Thanks!

Really awesome machine for its price and footprint, and the auto steam can be handy.
Wife got it for me as a gift to save money from the local espresso shop lol very happy with it and she liked the small counter space footprint.

Can do manual milk also!

Ohhhh nooooo....
Sorry to hear, we generally have heard of more positive experiences with Breville.
I call BS. Breville CS is unbelievably good in my (also) recent experience. What ‘issues’ did you actually have??
Another great video Pedro
Thank you :) Appreciated.

How much coffee (in grams) did you use for this single shot?
1:58 My plastic insert does not come off. 😢

Great video! What model is the grinder that’s in this video? Thanks
Looks like Breville's Smart Grinder Pro

Some of the single wall baskets like the Pesado made my IMS Italy are nicer than the original, so the purchase might of helped upgrade your machine ☺️
Loving these videos!! Awesome content. Thanks
Thanks for watching!

Is it possible to use regular coffee beans with this ?
"regular"? As freshly roasted coffee beans of course!
@@CoffeePartsTV yes 😅 Do you have any ratio recommendations for a dark roast ?

@@CoffeePartsTV thank you so much! I really appreciate your response! 🙏🏻 I will keep an eye on this next time I try it.
Hola que molino me recomiendas?
grind size?
9 bar or 15 bar.
15 bar pump, limited with a pressure valve at 9 bar for pulling the shot.
Is there an English version of this video?
lol we may have to get it translated for you, will post a job add up for a voice over actor ;)
OMG, are you serious?
Don’t go anywhere near this machine. I have had it but for a short time and it has developed a fault which cannot be repaired. Waste of money.
Is this good for start up coffee shops? Thank you
These are really low volume home machines, so would not sue it commercially,
Bambino crap +
