First time I ever heard this song it was the DJ between bands at a rockabilly night at a bar in Montreal. It was one of those tracks that makes you go "Whoa!" and you go ask the DJ what the song is. Unfortunately it was loud in the bar and the DJ was one of these hardcore Cockney music dudes so we could barely hear each other and I could barely understand him. "Hey man, this is great, what song is this?" (Phonetically:) "I's Gaue Ka' Gaue." "What? "Gaue Ka' Gaue!" "Is that the song or the band or the album?" "GAUE. KA'. GAUE!" Eventually I found it once the internet became a thing you could find music on. But anyway... obviously I'm not the only one; this is clearly one of the great rockabilly tracks of all time.
