- Grace VanderWaal performs "The Climb" from Hannah Montana: The Movie (Miley Cyrus, song written by Jessi Alexander and Jon Mabe). Hanna Montana was one of Grace's favorite TV shows, growing up. Grace plays guitar for this song, at a benefit concert for Valley Hospital Auxiliary's pledge to support child and adolescent mental health, and Valley's "Butterflies" program. Butterflies provides a team that plans and assesses needs for families caring for seriously ill children at home. (Ramapo High School auditorium, Franklin Lakes, New Jersey). In supporting this benefit fund, Grace continues to be a champion of those in need and continues to participate in various benefits.

Hailie I share the query from J. Michael. Just want to say that if you mean, not the same as original one, I agree. Grace always sings covers with her personal style, taking over the songs and improving originals. Have seldom seen that skill and sensitivity. I wouldn't know most of that original songs, were it not because Grace has sung them. Then I wanted to hear the originals, and I've seen that Grace surpasses them.
Only Grace VanderWaal has got the ability to deliver this song in a way that I like to listen to it. :)
