It's irrelevant I have buzz lightyear now but I don't have the 'Emperor' version of zurg. Also that buzz is a lot different compared to the jcpenney one that inspired me months back. I think the zurg toys are voiced by Andrew Stanton if they aren't then I take my comment back. I have an idea for a new episode in my series on my channel, plot twist (zurg was manning a robotic convoy of himself and the real Emperor zurg is alive out there.)
These guys just don't seem to have any conversations,Thinkway's Interactive Buddies Woody and Buzz,and Woody and Jessie,both the old and new models have actual conversations unlike Disney Store's.Plus Disney Store's with the Toy Detector,it's basically similar to Takara Tomy's Life Size Interactive Figures how they just talk back and forth.

I got this zurg twice but the first one broke and it was the original one and I got the new one in 2022. It’s still a good toy.

What a great toy but zurg in 2018 did not have the sensor so it would not work for him to talk to other toys 😢
yeah back then they didnt have a toy detector feature, that was pretty much the difference and also the phrases, we hope they update them soon

Seems like they just squeeze in the interactive feature in the old figure, even the box didn’t change, prolly do a comparison soon
