I've just been binging all the Stardew streams while i do my own playthrough of Stardewvalley Expanded, and gotta say, having a relaxing stream in the background while playing a relaxing game is transcendent . though trying to fish while RT is also fishing is hard.
It might help to change your fishing sound effect in the settings, although I imagine you'll still pull up when you hear his go off, since that'll be the one you're more used to. Still, might help.

i haven't been able to see any of the livestreams, but I do know that w the stardew community, a degree of backseat gaming is kind of an expectation. people sort of fill in the role of the wiki to try and help the streamer. however, not all streamers are down for this, and I think not all viewers may know how rude and frustrating it can be to a streamer who DOESN'T want it (which is most streamers.) I can imagine if ppl come in to the RT stream thinking it's like other stardew streamers who (seemingly) want the viewers to update them if they miss something important, they might not be /trying/ to be annoying. But, like I said, I haven't been IN the chat, so I could be very off. regardless, these would be explanations, not excuses. (I do also speak as someone who got used to stardew streamers frequently asking for chat input/advice/to confirm information, and then had to remember o yea, that is Not what most ppl want. )

luck is such a fun weird thing in this game, I have a lucky ring, luck boosting food on a lucky day and only got 3 iridium ore and still had to mine entire rooms for just a normal ladder, which didn't help at all while also getting 3 rooms with a swarm.. really makes me question what's happening with it, because I've had worst luck days and gotten way more than this in skull cavern

I made a new save and got back into stardew because of RT, and yet I forgot to do strawberries. I may have the blue, but I forgot the best red. (Fr though I hate the save rn, 4-5 hours in, and I’ve already created like 7+ alternate timelines. Always quit when you’re above kids, especially when it’s a negative spirit day.)
