First time watching, love your dad's sense of humour, keep those trips going, some of us watching have lost the man that made us and to see you together having fun is bloody beautiful ❤
You've got some nads alex you remind me of fifty years ago. Well done mate. I am sitting in my camper fishing.I am 71 and wish I was stomping on the beach. Take care and stay safe mate. Tom.ps take dad more often he is great.

Alex great to see you and your dad and the banter I used to be the same fishing with my old dad who I last ten years ago it feels like yesterday take care the pair of you from Gary on the windy Isle of wight
Great video Alex. Absolutely beautiful cod. Very rare to get 7lb+ fish nowadays. As others have said, great to see father and son having a laugh. Brought back happy memories when I used to fish with my late Dad. I fish with my son and we constantly wind each other up and prank each other. Enjoy and make the most of the good times.
What a great video, Alex! I really enjoyed watching it as much as you obviously did making it. Love the fact that you are making such great memories with your dad. ‘Til the next time…🐟🐟🐟

I Alex n me old mate John from e.o.b.c. Hope your both well after the storm you fished in nice to see you out my side of river p.b. Again Alex take care both of you tight lines fellas
Thanks mate. Plenty of bait elastic, and put the top circle hook through it, I haven't lost a piece yet. Then it goes in the bin bag to be disposed of.
Excellent a Lovely Cod very well done, the doubles out there waiting for you just matter of time. Beach buddy's are a God send in horrible weather on static marks you not moving about. If you can fix down the base sheet flaps, with rocks, or sand, etc will stay up in most even strong winds.🎣🐟🏆😎👍🏽
A massive well done on the PB cod and it's always great to see you out with your Dad. I hope you had a message from Tommy Joe saying well done on the cod. Also check out his live video footage of the storm as Anglesey was hit pretty bad.
Wonderful Cod that. I know you don't normally keep your PB's but I'd have definitely kept that one! In view of your closing comments I'm looking forward to your Storm Darragh fishing video!
Hiya Alex, glad you seen my mates message, still offshore in Singapore and home next week, again welcome with your dad to come out on the boat Morecambe bay 👍
Just be careful showing that trap on film m8 it's meant to have a licence tag plus otter guards heavy fine otherwise just advice being one of two eel catchers left along the east coast
Hi John, that's been mentioned already. I thought as it was intended to catch bait it was OK, but seems I mixed my drinks when researching. I won't be using it again 👍🏼
Didn't want you to get into trouble m8 I deal with the ea a lot there is no grey with them it's black or white ive got that many rules slapped on me it's unreal well done on the cod catching ive had a few up there this yr but not as big as yours well done
@johnspalton3628 if you have a friendly contact at the ea you can send me that would be much appreciated, buddy. I get about all over the place and trying to figure out which ifca an area falls under is tricky enough, let alone their individual bylaws, so a go-to guy would be awesome 👌🏽
Hi. Best thing to do is contact your local angling club. I am sure they will welcome you and give you lots of advice where you can fish literally out of your car.
Mr Google says: The five-bearded rockling (Ciliata mustela) has a dorsal fin with a first ray followed by a line of vibrating rays. The vibrations move water over the sensory organ in the fin, allowing the fish to detect food and threats before reaching them
