While I agree his music is great and is a very talented singer/songwriter - What radio station would he be played on? The folk/ singer songwriter genre isnt getting much airplay these days - Just be happy you can enjoy his music on TH-cam

He's written loads of stuff with Old Crow Medicine Show (notable the greatest hustler of all, next go 'round, crazy eyes, that evening sun, James river blues). He's done solo stuff like Gallow Pole etc and a lot of early 1900s folk covers. He does indeed have a lovely voice.

Saw him with Old Crow in Manchester ten years or so. I always look out for the tracks that he sings lead on their cds. This is magnificent. I am just catching up with him again. I would definitely go to see him if he comes over here again.

I feel bad for not liking the original. The industry hasnt been kind to that girl so i dont say hate necessarily. I just felt it was such a serious song it shouldnt have been a dance song even it thats what it was about i guess. But im a nerd so this is the version i find most moving. The kol is toooo, too haha just trying too hard I guess.
