Cardiff - World Cup Traffic | S4E4

It’s the busy summer season at the airport and with the football World Cup in Germany there is increased demand for flights from football fans that want to travel and experience the tournament first hand. Meanwhile the latest construction project, a new parking garage is coming along nicely and is eagerly awaited by travellers and airport management alike.
Each season of the series will play out 1 year with season 4 portraying the year 2006 at the airport.
Cardiff is a fictional series that will feature made up but also inspired by real life events from the respective time period. The air traffic displayed is picked to fit the time period but for entertainment purposes there are some historical inaccuracies throughout the series.

Thank you, there were many reasons and I have talked about it in quite a few videos by now but in short I wanted a european airport that wasn't in Germany, that wasn't too big and that much of the traffic I have featured theoretically could have been handled from and for various reasons Cardiff Iftars that profile the best.

It was custom made for me. A friend of mine made the livery for me which was then printed to decal paper and added to the donor model.

How did you make that A310 float?

I filmed the scene 2 times. First I placed the plane on a stand and then I removed the plan and stand from the Fram. Afterwards I overlayed the to recordings and then used a mask to remove the stand. That way it looks like the plane is floating.
