No fair the xmr is a 2up longer wheelbase ! Helps a lot , I'm on a 850 2up , I go where some 1ups can't
I do agree with that, but the High Lifter does have more ground clearance. I wish I had an XMR 850 with the same tires and the same lift as the highlifter but I don't have $12,000 just lying around LOL.

They are in the works, just got the new axle in. Now both fronts are upgraded, now to see lol.

What size Outlaws are on the HL? They look bigger than 29.5
That's a tough call between machines, which do you like better?
Frank Sanna they are the stock 29.5s for now. He plans on 32.5s but they are not cheap lol. I do like playing on the HL more. The XMR is an excellent machine and has a smoother suspension. I'm not a big fan of the long chassis but it's a bonus if you are riding double. I will say the HL needs power steering something bad!!! Upcoming upgrade...

They had to cut the video after each mud run so the Polaris could replace axles, bearings, diff, etc.

What kind of tires on the high lifter?? I just bought mine and I'm kind of scared of the notorious axel ripper out 2s lol
Lindsey those are the stock outlaw 2s and throttle control is your best friend.
Biggest difference is the driving style.

Does the belt get wet easy with the Polaris?
+Ethan we have had no issue with the HL 850 with water. My wife's 570 SP had an inner seal issue when we got it. Now it's only when I get it in water up on seat that it gets water in belt.
honda dont have a belt. it's got an actual transmission. why dont we see more honda's on these kind of videos. there really nice tough machines.
The only Honda we own right now is the Pioneer 500, but I am looking at getting one in the near future. I personally like the foot shift, then add irs on top of that. Yes indeed!!!

i keep a tow strap in my box so i can anchor my machine to a tree behind me for winching trees out of the way so i don't slide

Let's see....when I went up north to go atving I visited 7 small towns, patronized 10 different businesses, went fishing and limited out on panfish , and put on 193 miles of awesome trail riding viewing lakes, streams, wildlife , and forest....while in this video you drove into a mud pit to prove you couldn't get stuck......???
Where at man, that sounds like fun! I would love to go on a camping, riding, and fishing trip. We are not suppose to ride on roads down here so riding to stores is a bit risky lol. No I am the one behind the camera, Id rather get the shot! Truth be told I was hoping they would get stuck!
@@RidgeRunnerATV My brother and I went to vilas county Wisconsin , a friend of mine has a place in Eagle River right on a road route that leads to the trail systems. Selected Wisconsin counties are very atv friendly with trail system expansion all over the state. From northern Wisconsin you can ride into the U P of Michigan all the way to copper Harbor. Wisconsin has numerous atv parks and campsites and trails leading to small towns and lakes all over the state.
Definitely going to have to check that out, I like Wisconsin. We drove up there to get a horse a few years ago, it's nice up there! How much fuel would you suggest to carry? We never get to do overnight rides, no places to do that here. I mean we camp and ride but not like that.
@@RidgeRunnerATV my Atv has a range of 110 to 120 miles, most trail systems lead to towns with gas stations. My brother and I went 90 miles, filled up twice and only put 2 3/4 gallons in the tank all day. I get about 21 - 26 mpg and my brothers gets 26 -30mpg. We carry no extra gas cause towns are not that far apart.

I though the same thing until I got one. It’s the best wheeler I’ve ever ridden. The longer wheelbase actually enhances it and doesn’t change the wheeler at all how I expected
