At 5:50 - yes that counts for 4. Even if the ball never reaches the rope, the ball being touched by a fielder who is touching the rope counts - similar to the sidelines rules in basketball
Let me explain the last clip because I saw it live and this is my team. This match happened in Guyana and before this match there were instances of the crowd running onto the field and celebrating after a win. This is the first time I think it happened so quickly even before the game was officially over. The crowd was not trying to prevent the batsmen from running, they knew he needed a 4 to win and as soon as they realized he did not hit a 4 they run onto the field in celebration. The players were never in danger though. But this game helped to stop this practice because they called the match a draw even though West Indies won.
I have been getting hugely into MLB over the last few weeks having been into cricket since I can remember (at least 20 of my 24 years!) @RexyBing please keep doing more cross overs! Would also love to see you try some cricket I hear there are teams in the US
LOL you need to go to a 3 day test match. In england it's the only sport you can drink beer all day, fall asleep and they will wake you up to watch the good bits! can't do that in baseball!
The ACTUAL funniest moment in cricket didn't make this list. In 1991 England's Ian Botham was given out Hit Wicket (well technically Trodden on Wicket actually, that's genuinely what it's called in the rules) when he lost his balance and stumbled into his stumps, making a desperate attempt to leap over them instead which failed. That wasn't the funny part. When summarising the day's play at the end, one of the commentators for the radio broadcast _Test Match Special,_ Jonathan Agnew, described the wicket by saying "he couldn't quite get his leg over". "Getting your leg over" is old British slang for getting laid, and Botham was known for his sexual exploits, so the commentators slowly dissolved into helpless giggles for several minutes as their unintentional double entendre sank in. Supposedly it caused a 2-mile traffic jam as thousands of commuters listening to the match in their cars were forced to pull over due to laughing too hard. You can hear it here: th-cam.com/video/IzEBLrz3S1o/w-d-xo.html
2:40 A complete blunder. One player shouts 'Mine!' and then it's all up to him, the other player keeping out of his way. As was 4:40 - it's always the keeper's ball. This was sorted out about 300 years ago.
You should think about having another go at these videos. They're a lot of fun - and about a 1.5 billion people follow cricket so you're bound to find your audience once you hit the "sweet spot" (which actually could be something as simple as picking an IPL team to follow and reviewing their matches during the season from an American perspective while still doing the fun videos - something like that). I also learn a lot about baseball (which I love)!
Bro I love ur baseball videos I had some doubths in baseball is there is any baseball world cup and how many countries plays baseball and I am excited to see ur baseball videos upload ur baseball videos
Watson was meant to be there but because the ball went to high clark was there (you always have a man behind incase the ball misses or goes over. so it was really all three ppl faults
Not really. Not Clarke’s fault at all - he did everything he was supposed to do. It was mainly haddin’s fault for the bad throw which should’ve gone to Watson and then, once that happened, it was Watson’s fault for ball watching and not moving behind the stumps as soon as haddin’s throw went over his head.

Its harder to bowl in cricket as compared to baseball...since throwing a ball with jerk in elbow is not allowed here...Arm should move round without bending elbow. Elbow should remain straight during release of the ball.
@@philmccracken179 i mean people dont run that fast, its not like theyre Olympic sprinters charging in, at best youre only going to add like 10kmh. also running in also makes bowling accurately difficult because you aren't starting from the stationary position. ever notice that when people throw they generally arent moving much or at most a little hop. its always going to be easier to throw harder and faster when you can bend you arm.
@@philmccracken179 Actually, they are basically the same game without the stumps and the wickets except the rules for baseball is written by a looser team to gain point LOL!.

You should avoid talking so much while watching the video, and listen to the commentary. Cricket has some of the best sports commentators, they enhance the experience. The Zimbabwe one (red shirt) was way funnier if you had listened to the commentator's. Pause the video after a clip, or save your thoughts for the end.
