This is my review after using Indica soil
I have noticed that algae is less after using your soil. In my tank no algae eaters present. Further, water also remains clean and free of the foul smell that usually comes. Soil doesn't make water cloudy when some rooted plants are removed or new plants planted.

Which light you’re using in this tank?
Low tech without Co2 ek fertilizer suggest karie pls, without business promotion.
You can use APT Zero,in low tech tank, less algae, but choose plants accordingly, don't expect coloration as a CO2 tanks, give importance to good filter and biomedia, there is a reason they are costly, use bacteria, you will get a stable tank in longterm

NPK 1/2 gm + Epsom salt 1/2 gm in 1 litre water take 5 ml syringe, fill it and directly inject it in to substrate near plants once in 1 month. You can make CO2 also with Citric acid 5 gm + baking soda5 gm + 100 ml water, instant CO2 no need to change water every day, only add citric acid powder and soda. Best plant for low tech tank is Cryptocoryne ( water trumpet) thank me later.
Plant heavily, use heater and sponge filter, refill the evaporated water. No requirement for fertilizer. No alage even if you have lighting for 10 hours a day. it's my personal experience.

I think everything is fine co2 and that plants are also growing thats great but if we see the other hand i mean the fish that neon tetra they are not only gasping for air but they are uncomfortable because of ph level in water i mean we need some leaf like oak tree leaf orelse dry guava leaf and one of the most useful leaf knows indian almond leaf to lower the ph level of water to make perfect environment its not only perfect for fishes that you release in your tank a neon tetra but plants as well 🙂

Hello Sir,
Some stem plants don't stick in soil when newly setting up a tank and float up. Should I trim them short and replant them for better grip?
Replant them if they are healthy, plant them angularly not vertically, and adjust the flow from your canister filter, too much flow disturb plants grabbing soil as the roots are young

How to stop brown algae in planted aquarium?
Sir my plants r suffering from brown algae, what would be the solution for it, I cant introduce Otocinclus in it as they'll die if kept only 2.What brown algae eaters will u suggest excluding Otos?

Sir if I do dark start method and cycle the water properly, is it bad for api bacteria? And mycorrhiza fungus? There is no plants so will it survive?
They will survive not a problem, yet with Indica you need not do all this, put the plants, fill the water and the plants will grow with no ALgae

Fish poop percolates down through the soil grains overtime no matter what. Is there a way to stop this?
There is a way to get rid of this, you need a turkey blaster and a small diameter plastic pipe during maintenance and water change, light push of turkey blaster loosen the dirt in soil and the pipe pick it up to a bucket below during water change
