Being honest is what keeps me broke, unemployed and single. Because I tell people I have money to loan them when I should lie to them. Unemployed because I tell employees I have no work experience when I should lie to them. And single because I tell women "Yes your ass does look big in that dress" when I should lie to them. Conclusion. The more honesty people want, the more they want you to lie to them.

"The Invention of Lying" was a very perfect film to feature in this one. It's such an interesting philosophical approach to a world where nobody ever lies and one guy finds that it's very convenient to lie.

Lied about breaking the garbage disposal (my roommate knew but was really kind about it, such a nice guy), lied to my ex about smoking his weed and I feel really bad about it, lied in 2nd grade by erasing my teacher's negative notes that I was supposed to have signed by my mom...that's all I can think of, but of course there's so much more.
What I like best about lying is that, if your good at it, it can get you out of a lot of jams.
That last fact relates to me so much you don't even know I feel like I'm at a point where I can lie and convince myself it's true as well😂😂
The best way to get away with lying is to make it believable. The more details and release if the lie, the more someone will believe it

I rarely lie mostly because of these two reasons
1. I don't like being lied to
2. It's very hard for me to remember things that didn't actually happen.

She would tell us that she would be sent to an asylum, she had schitsophrania, she was being possessed by a demon and send us pictures of "her" wrists and wouldn't give a damn about our real problems. I REALLY don't like to lie and would never cheat on that matrix experiment thing, I'd feel to guilty. I think truth is one of the most important qualities of a person because it leads to improvement and acceptance of responsibility for ones actions. I've found those who don't make changes in their life for the good are the ones that lie to themselves to make what they're doing ok and avoid accepting responsibility for their actions.
