It also came with a frugal 1.9 litre Direct Injection Diesel, denoted DI-D. For load carrying with the seats flat, taking four or five people (five over short journeys as it's a bit confined with five people) and shopping or luggage, or towing a small trailer or 2 berth trailer tent or caravan, this is a good choice.
my father had one, bought it new in 1999, i loved riding it but it had to be scrapped because of frame damage from rust. the one my dad had didnt have the satnav
I had a Mitsubishi Carisma 1.8 GDI 2001 The problem with the GDI egine is It needs the expensive fuel like v power and so on. And you must make more highway kilometers or miles with It because the engine will sound like that of a diesel when you not make them.
I had one for a few years. Was pretty dependable and economic. Got me all over ireland.. Very memorable car.
ahahaha - at 2:27 there drives a golden Space Star in the Background!
You mean green metallic
No, the GDI enables a high compression ratio because injecting fuel directly has a cooling effect inside the cylinder.
Now in 2022 I look on buying this car, it seems like a very usefell car with high reliability if I am right
Even it's an older car now, i'm going to look for a second hand one. I think it's a good deal :-)
Felt lining in storage compartments is an ASSET, not a point of criticism.

the rear seats moving fowards seems the same of space wagon 92, it actually touchs the back of front seats..
Today my mother has the Spacestar 2000 GDI.
It says «Comfort» on the left rear door trim.
One thing i hate about it is that it has a 4 speed automatic
It is big for a space star/mirage!!
