My PCNSE certificate has expired and now I'm wondering should I recertify and take the same exam? What do you think? The client and my boss as well are not requiring me to re-take that exam, so I'm thinking to maybe proceed with some other certifications like CompTia Security+ or maybe even Prisma Certified Cloud Security Engineer (PCCSE).
I only feel like recertification is worth it if the company pays for it and if it makes sense towards my career. Sometimes the getting the next level cert works out better
@@certifiedcurls Yeah, I would probably not get a pay raise if I recertify PCNSE, but I would for sure get a pay raise if I pass the CompTia Security+ Exam. It's just that I would probably need at least 2-3 months of studying to be ready to take Security+. It's also quite expensive, $400 is a lot of money for my country 😬 Thanks for your reply, curls!!
I am in. We've been rotating out of SRX into Palo over the last year. I've been doing most of my troubleshooting, in Looker, if you are familiar with that. I'll be working on a video on implementing Palos into GNS3. I've been in and out of Panorama, but am no expert. I think the VM I have is... 8.1... lol. Puppies. NM. looks like it's an OVA, so I'll be running it in ESXi.
Congrats to u!🎉 Put in that work and get it all done! You can accomplish all u set out to do and keep God first💪🏾 #LABEVERYDAY #DOWORK #SUCCESS ANDNOTHINLESS.....Duces 😊
Currently studying for PCNSA and was wondering if you came across a good website/course for practice tests? Found a few on Udemy but not sure what’s best. Thanks
Hi. I'm looking into studying network engineering. Do most jobs allow you to work from home as a network engineer? That's important for me as I don't want to get the train into the city/office everyday.
I wouldn't say most jobs because I don't know. It's easier now due to covid though to find one that WFH but occasionally might have to go into the office
I also wanted to do PCNSE certification, is it mandory to have three to five years' experience working in the Networking or Security industries and the equivalent of 6 months' experience working full-time with Palo Alto Networks security platform?
So happy for you! Thank you for sharing your journey with all of us! 💞💞 My fav!
