Please get back to saltwater nothing beats it
We will, we just want to add some freshwater content to the channel since we also love freshwater fishing🙏 Thank you for always watching and supporting 🙌🎣
Where you catch 2 Whitebass there are a lot more. Use line with 2 Jigs. Can double up. This is 77 yr old in Okla. Went in Morning Charter at Port Aransas New Years day. 4 hr trio. Caught 18 # Hammerhead. 2 Gafftop about 4# each and 1 Red Snapper. See you there next New Years day.
@GGAnglersShorts pls try to fish indianola tx theres lots of potintal vids the marina is ok not the best anymore but the docks OMG loaded shark and all drum amazing
Sooooo we just gonna act like Chris didn't almost lose his life at the beginning of the video coming down that hill.😂😂😂
💀💀💀
I’m 16, and I’ve caught thousands of white bass, they’re so fun to catch. Thanks for mixing it up I love this!
Thats awesome! What is your favorite lure to catch White Bass? Also thank you so much for watching🙌🎣
@@GGAnglers I’ll dm some pictures of baited I use for white bass and crappie
I will say that video of you guys running on the jetties hooking the bull reds 😂- tight lines- PuraSal Angler 🙌🏻
Didn't know there was such a thing as white bass. Thank you for the new knowledge!! Great job!
I dig it. It's different from the other content. This is my favorite channel. Keep up the good work and keep em coming.
Thank you so much!
Quick tip on catching white bass use 4 to 6 pound test for lures 1/16 or 1/8 oz rooster tail
Second bait 1/16 oz jig heads and some curly tail baits like barkley 2-3 in bait or other small plastic
As for me, i got no problem catching white by med slow retrive, and on the medum light or light rod, i caught my limit in Livingston dam
Thank you! I will try all of that for next time since I havent had good luck
Glad you guys mixed it up with fresh water fishing. I like that you mention the tackle you use. Would like to see that in all your videos. Love your channel. You have great content.
Im happy to hear you love the videos! We will start talking about gear more, thank you for watching and for the feedback 🙌🎣
GREAT TOUCH WITH THE SALUTE!!
For white bass, I use 4 pound lines. Just check your line after the second or third fish. Or you can use 6 pound line also use tiny lures like when you're fishing for crappie or perch fishing.
Thank you! I will try this
Brooo the intro, I was like, wait is this a bass pro commercial?
Sick video man!!
Thank you bro!😂 I should probably hit them up after this video👀
GG "The Butcher"! Good job Chris
💯💯🙌😂
That white bass looked 🔥 yall cooked it up good bro ..loved the cook part💯🔥
Thank you bro! Tryna get to Ray Catch and Cook status💪
Ata boy young fellas. Sand bass fishing. Great Light line action. And to see bald Eagles. America 🇺🇸
Thank you so much! It was so cool to see the Bald Eagles, first time for me and Cris!
Alv jacks in the river😂
😭
You 2 gave me the late night munchies, those burgers looked good 😂. Good mixup, I’ve been thinking of doing the same and hitting some areas around the house.
😂😂 its nice to go hit up those spots close to the house whenever you cant go saltwater fishing! We were at spring creek but it might be a little to early so we will probably give it another go next month🙌🎣
Nice to see we fish majority of the same spots lol wether you’re fishing salt or fresh water , new subscriber 💪🏾
I appreciate it! Thank you for tuning in🙌💪
Heard the intro and had to double check I was in the right channel 😂 Happy Holidays! 🎉
😂😂 Glad you didnt leave early! Happy holidays, thank you for watching🙌🎣
Happy New Year! Great video but I’m not really a fan of fresh water fish…tastes too fishy/muddy. Only exception may be the stocked rainbow trout. Maybe you should do a rainbow trout video while the ponds are still stocked for the winter.
First!!💯 love me some whitebass action on light action am about to have to find some myself
We are going to have to go together so we can catch more!!!
Brooo, post another video, my guys !!!! I'm sure I'm not the only one waiting .. maybe some short clips don't keep us waiting ! 😢😢😢
Im sorry for the wait! Fishing is very tough right now but I am uploading tomorrow. Also I think Im going to make some vlog style videos due to fishing being so bad.
For shorts we do have a Shorts channel called (GG Anglers Shorts)
Happy New Year, the white bass you need to bleed it to take the fishy taste out of it. The white bass run starts about the second week of February along with the crappie spawn also the largemouth bass are starting their spawn. February is exciting in freshwater for about three months
Thank you for the tips! We will give it another shot next month and bleed them next time🙏 How do you catch crappie?
Happy New Year and congratulations on reaching 35.7k subscribers. You guys have done really well in a quick time. Folks really enjoy your content.
Thank you so much! Taking it nice and slow while trying to improve. We appreciate you watching🙌🎣
Appreciate the content guys!! I always enjoys watching you guys all blazed up because you’re funny!! My favorite video is the jetty video and when y’all catch BIG BUULLLL REDDSS!! 😂
😂😂😂We appreciate you watching, glad you like the big BULLREDDD videos😂💪
Happy New Year guys!! Great video and at first I thought it was the same river yall caught the gator gar! My favorite video was the one Keven caught the huge jack in the flood gate!!! Looking forward to more videos this year/
Thank you so much! That was one of my favorite videos too! This creek is close to the river where we caught the gar🎣
Great video! Love the catchNcook!
Thank you so much bro! Linking soon after this cold front💪🔥
That salute to the bald eagle 💀
Mericaaaaaa!
😂😂
Y'all need to try Crappie fresh water spawn time is the best bro.
Chris were you guys fishing creeks in and around Houston? I too have not caught a white bass before. Donˋt want to know your secret spots, just general area, then we,ll figure it out. Awesome job with your video content … keep it going guys.
Thank you so much! We were fishing Spring Creek in North Houston🙌🎣
If you are a fisherman at hart you catch from bluegill to shark and everything else in between. And hell yeah I got me answer on this video ❤❤
Thats right, aslong as I can have a line in any water ill be happy🙏🎣 Yessir thank you for participating and watching!!🙌
Happy New Years bro, I can tell your getting a lot more comfortable with your videos, and it makes them very enjoyable 💯 keep on doing what your doing bro 🙏🏼💯💯
Thank you so much! Comments like this make it even better for me, I really appreciate it🙏🎣
Happy holidays bro💯
Happy holidays bro! Spring is close, Port A jacks soon?👀
For me the best catch was that Cobia off the jetties. That's rare. As for mixing up the content I'm glad to see it. I live in Austin and freshwater fish a little bit too. So bring on them basses! Black, white, Guadalupe, smallies all good with me! Fishing is fishing to me. A lot of the same principles apply to both. Structure attracts fish.
That Cobia video is unforgettable. Definitely one of my favorites aswell.
Now for Bass, ive never heard of the ones you mentioned only Smallies. I didnt know we had those!! We might have to start digging a little deeper into freshwater to see what other species we can catch! Thank you Nick🙌
Happy news years guys, my fav was port A jetties and freeport! That king Chris got and the cobia gg got!
Thank you so much! Man those videos were awesome, the Cobia video is unforgettable 🙌
Yall come up to North Texas in April for crappie. Crappie are awesome.
We really want to fish for crappie and try them too! Ive caught super small ones but nothing good enough to eat, that would be awesome!
White bass are good with mustard base and cajun fish fry. Nice video guys!
For camera equipment, let me know if you need help. I just made a video on a Sony ZV-e10 which is a great low budget 4k camera.
That cajun sounds goodd!!
I will let you know once we get a camera thank you so much for the offer🙏🙌
Looks good,he knows what he's doing
Chef Cris💪💪
Thanks for answering my question bro keep up the vids
Thank you for watching and participating!!🙌
White bass is fire
It was!
Watch out for the gators,too
We completely forgot about them, we will next time for sure🙏
White perch, one of the best fresh to bracket water fish you can eat!!!! like the stripe perch!!!
It was very good! We will definitely try it again. We want to cook a largemouth bass now!!
Great content ! keep it coming 🔥
Thank you! Will do!
lets go!
LETS GO!!
Watch for the gators fellows. Lets go
Nice to see chef chrisco back in the kitchen
Thank you! Chef Criscool will make more appearances soon👀🍽️
Those birds tell me what area you are near.... I think
Hey gg thinking abt getting an avet just don’t know if I should get an sx or an mxl. I’ll be doing bull red fishing and maybe some smaller shark fishing
The AVET SX is Perfect for Bullreds and Black Drum. The MXL does have a little more line so it could better for smaller sharks. Both great, I highly recommend buying a 2 speed of either though.
@@GGAnglers thanks 🙏
Food looks on point 👍
It was!! Thank you 🎣🍽️
lol… dude, y’all know that fish tastes like the bottom of a pond. Catfish and crappie, even a freshwater drum is way better than white bass.. but they’re fun as hell to catch on light tackle. Nice vid though
Lmao!! It wasnt all that bad but I do want to try the ones you mentioned, even Largemouth Bass! Thank you for watching 🙏🙌
Let's gooooo criscooo on the first 💪
💪💪💪
Is that a bull striper?
Wait, how did you know!?
😂😂😂😂
WOOOOOOOO WELCOME BACK
delicious lookin ahh fewd
Should we cook some big drum next time we go fishing👀
Next time try red minnows
We saw a guy catching alot with live minnows, might be the red minnows you mentioned! We might give it a try next time
There are crabs in Freshwater the meat is sweeter than Saltwater
Dang, ive never seen those before only crawfish
jack blow up lol maybe a big gar bro bro welcome to fresh water gg
😂😂
I have to disagree spoons and metal Jiggs and spinner baits are great for windy days my favorite fish to catch and eat is mackerel fish deep fried and halibut Deep fried also cabazon fish for fish sandwiches
🙌🎣
Where are you fishing location?? 👍🎣
on the surfside jetties is there a chance for cast for live bait?
Yes
Cypress Creek
Is that where you, were,or Spring Creek
Aye man where is this at ? If you don’t mind sharing
Spec trout is way more fishy than white bass im from Illinois but ive been in j-ville for awhile 07 while and i can 100 percent say all trout and salmon is fishier than most white fish. Excluding catfish which is as close to specs in taste as you can get from fresh.
We might need to try it cooked a different way, what would you recommend for next time? Also what other fish do you catch in Illinois? Thank you for watching!
@GGAnglers Illinois is full of aquatic life. Blue catfish, flatehead catfish, channel catfish, 4 bull head catfish, musky, pike, small and large mouth bass, crappie, lake trout, sauger, paddelfish, trout, and salmon pan fish of all sorts trust me bluegill is one of the best eating fish and more. I haven't been there in many years, but it's a great fishery. Got out of the corps and decided to stay in nc.
