Taya Smith is such a precious woman of God! Beautiful on the inside and out. Saw them a few weeks ago in NYC. And they are the most talented people i have ever come across and the holy spirit poured down from heaven with every song they sang and it was the most powerful spiritual experience i have ever witnessed. Jesus has transformed my life and he can do the same for you!❤❤❤

In 2017 I played this album during my drive to and from the hospital my Mum was in. We weren't sure if she would survive her illness. The music on this album helped me through that time and drew me close to God. I'm thankful for this album and I'm thankful she is still alive today:)

I got blessed to attend Hillsong College in 14-15 these guys are the real deal. I got to hear Darren Kitto preach and got to meet him Matt and most of the live team aside from Joel as he was in NYC. I am a testimony personally when I was there I had a faith that was just surface, just being in the culture changed my life forever love you guys! #wonder #allday #UNITED

None of this takes away from how they serve. Please pay attention to what’s ACTUALLY important. Hi Taya, I’m just learning to openly be a Christian and I think you look beautiful no matter how you wear your hair! I’ve always loved our maker but have always been afraid to show it. I want to be bold with my love for Christ and I’ve always wondered about shaving my head bald (for soooooo many personal reasons) and today, I did it. Thanks for giving me the courage to do so 💕😊
The Bible says its a shame for a woman to shave her head. Stop obeying these people and start obeying God's Word. If you spend as much time reading it as most people spend watching TV each day you will have it read in 2 weeks. Then you will know that these people are leading millions astray.

God's Word also teaches that it is shameful for a man to have long hair. These people at Hillsong are intentionally being rebellious to lead a bad example because they are not Christians, I promise you that. This is one of many very bad things that Hillsong are doing. The founder/owner of Hillsong - Brian Houston, covered up his dad raping 7 year old boys for years. It only came to light when the Royal Commission on Child Abuse found his Dad was guilty and found out that Brian had been covering it up for years. Please dear one flee from these people, dive into your Bible headfirst and keep reading. It only takes 2 weeks to read the entire Bible if you just spend the same amount of time reading it as most people spend watching TV each day. Your soul is incredibly precious and the world is full of false teachers and once you fully read the Bible yourself you will know exactly how to spot them because we are warned to be careful of them, Jesus said there would be many false teachers and the only way we can spot them is by comparing them to God's Word.
This is a for the record thing, but Taya's hair literally died so she shaved it to save it. It's back now... So idk what else to tell you...

why did taya shave her head
we should edify the church and correct all people and these people need correcting as well for sure. we shouldn't protect people just cause we like them. but we all got to have more Love and your judgements are way off. you all need to pray for this band instead of attacking them all the time. cause that Album was one of the best Christian Album I heard. its so beautiful and true and heart felt. every song brings you peace and Joy when you hear it.

Ask yourself a question - Would I judge a woman who shaved their head prior to Chemo Therapy? A woman who is going bald? A man? The answer is no, you would not. Please remember that unless you know the heart of a man or woman (like God) then you have no place to judge them.

I'm not saying that they did, but let me tell you this, God is doing something using these guys, that's why the whole world is singing and worshipping using their songs, it's impossible do those songs without the great power of the holy spirit, and a lot of abstentions, fasts and prayers.

If you study the text you just posted it isn't a law but a question saying nature dictates that men have short hair and women have long hair in general. It didn't say "Thou shalt not cut thy hair if thy is a woman" or something.

About Taya's hair - God loves all. Every style; hair, clothing has evolved since bible times. I have short hair and that doesn't make me any less of God's child and it doesn't mean I'm gay or will go to hell for it. We have no right to pass judgement on anyone, especially based on the way they look or their lifestyle. I think it is amazing that Taya does not go along with the traditional standards of keeping long hair, if everyone kept with those standards, how would even have diversity in the church? If you keep with the tradition of long hair, why not get rid of your blue jeans and t-shirts and bring back the long dresses and wool garments? It's all about perspective.
