Kids nowadays will never understand the feeling being sick watching Cartoon Network at 7:50 PM, falling asleep and waking up to this at like 1 in the morning.
Tim and Eric was WAAAY ahead of it’s time. They laid the groundwork for current humor. I’m pretty sure if it came out in this day and age, that it would have been much more successful like Eric Andre.
Yeah, but I don't think today's humor would've been the way it was without shows like this. Anyone who knows about it understands how influential they were--and there are plenty of people who give credit to Tim and Eric
It's part of an interview he did. The reason that Jon is called JonTron is because he saw this opening and thought to himself "Tim-and-Eric, Awesome show! What if I was Jon-Tron TwoPointO." The rhythm was important, so to actually understand what I'm talking about, you'll need to find the H3 Podcast he was on.
I watch Tim and Eric probably around 1-2x per year. Meaning, all the seasons, all the episodes. Still one of the funniest shows of all time. All this meme/sh**post humor the younger generation thinks they invented was done by Tim and Eric over a decade before. WAY ahead of their time.
Neither of those are funny. Real comedians would consider tim and eric to be absolute jokes and would never take their work seriously. But as far as the younger generation liking this sort of humor, youre right; I can definitely see 14 year olds getting down with this sort of stuff. However I couldnt imagine them rewatching it again like you somehow manage to.
You guys have had the most famous comedic actors perform on a variety show ever. Which makes you the funniest people in THE WORLD! Great Job Tim&Eric :)
@@theactionjackson5734 I couldn't watch it when I was younger cos Australia didn't have adult swim :( only discovered it this year just before I turned 23. Man it sucks, all the great shows came out when I was young
I feel sorry for anyone who unironically thinks JonTron came before these guys when it was the exact opposite. If anything, JonTron was Tim and Eric 2.0
Going to pull a grandpa like everyone else here At one point in time this was show was only a few months old and when it happened, I legit thought it would not get anywhere Boy how wrong was I
I actually covered this song for a series of mine. The first chord progression is E-G-A-A with the first three top notes inverted down an octave, so for the first E, you play B5, E6, G#6, and do the same for G and A. For the last A, you can play the normal chord. My version goes E-G-A-B because I like it better. The second part is a series of major thirds of C-D-E-E (i.e., you play C6 and E6, then D6 and F#6, then E6 and G#6). The rest I did by ear.

The majority of this show is a parody of late night broadcasts that happened in the late 80s and early 90s, Gen Z weren't even sentient humans at that point in time..
@@AtypicalAdventurer I personally don't think they meant it that way. This show has alot of what is now Gen Z's comedy. I do say that but there were alot of other shows that had similar comedy. (2 examples is SuperJail! & Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law) you are correct about how Gen Z wasn't a thing with what it is parodying (Gen Z started in 1995). But it kinda really did start Gen Z's main early comedy type.
Soma81 Congrats. Like me, you see what garbage this is. You are not only one of the few who have seen this crappy, hardly shown show. But also, you understand just how annoying and disgraceful this show is to the name of comedy. Do you not?

I watched this when I was 4 with my dad in 2014! Great times.
The saxophone part is the best solo in the history of music.
Facts. It gave me Midnight City vibes 💯
Wish there was and extended version of that part lol
The funny thing is, they probably spent more money making this intro than they did to make an episode.
I love it.
ikr i cant imagine how much it cost to train those cats to do all that stuff

The freeze frame shot is priceless on Eric.
