Good choice, man. The Wagakki Band are quite unique and have a hell of a sound - that mix of traditional and Rock/Metal works really well. Getting into Babymetal led me to discover bands like Band-Maid, Wagakki and Ningen Isu - Japan really is making music for the 21st century!

She is also a piano player since the age of 3 - graduate of Tokyo College of Music in piano. She probably also learned Laido (Japanese sword drawing); she performs sword dance during some of their sets. Yeah, she can sing. The band is a collection of stellar musicians.

Try Ignite, Strong faith, Guren, Howling, Ikusa, Tengaku. If in the mood for something more gentle - Sabaku no komoriuta. Those who have music video, i suggest choosing it for better experience.

Homura leads directly into Akatsuki no ito, a whole other song. I guess more precisely that Homura is an instrumental and Akatsuki no ito is a song... since Yuko sings in the second. The switch can be witnessed by Wasabi (the contemporary drummer) 4 count...
The harp-like instrument on its side is the koto; the "banjo" played by Ninagawa Beni, the one with the "spatula"-like pick, is a shamisen. Check out any track where Beni is prominent, it's such a great sound, and honestly all of this band's music is amazing.
Hey, I just found your channel and binged some videos and I have a couple of recommendations for you. I'll give a bit of info on each. Firstly, I noticed that you did a lot of Epica videos so this first one is directly related to that. Mark Jansen, the mastermind/guitarist/growler of Epica has another project called MaYaN which has some similarities but is a much heavier band. The first album described itself as "Symphonic Death Metal Opera." Mark is a pure frontman in the band rather than playing guitar. I'm going to actually recommend the first song off of their first album because it still remains my favorite to this day and I think you'd like it (that's not to say that they don't have plenty of other great songs). Check out "Symphony of Aggression." You're probably best going for a studio version because I don't think there are any official live versions and it's better than a crappy cell phone recording or something. For follow-up tracks, check out "The Savage Massacre - In the Eyes of Law: Pizzo," "Course of Life," and "Paladins of Deceit." Secondly, there is a bit of a supergroup called Alkaloid. It has members of Obscura, Necrophagist, Dark Fortress, God Dethroned, Aborted, Blotted Science... This one is really hard for me to pick a single song but I'm going to also go with the first song off of their first album since this would be your first impression if you just checked out the album without knowing anything about them. It's also a really good song. Check out "Carbon Phrases." This is another one where you'll want to check out the studio version because they have very little live footage. If you want a good follow-up, just go into the next song on that album, "From a Hadron Machinist," and a song from their second album, "As Decreed by Laws Unwritten." And if you still like what you hear go for their big epic, "Rise of the Cephalopods." Hope you check these out because I think they'd really be up your alley.

a couple of thoughts about your video. now i know I'm not the best but i hope it helps the split screen in 720p. you look very blurry. i hope you ripped the video so you could add it in post. if you are adding it in post you should try and do it as an and in floating video instead of a split screen. you being the floating video or the reactionary video as the floating. even try using OBS it is free. i think that could really help with capture and broadcast style video creation. i did enjoy yourvideo. you have a great set. way better than what i use hope this helps
