Thank you for your interesting insight into "Bonanza" facts. Here are two that weren't mentioned: First, there was another saloon named "Julia's Palace" that was owned by the madam Julia Bulette. Second, Adam got his name from his mother Elizabeth who, along with Ben, shared an admiration for the book "Paradise Lost" by John Milton. She had Ben read to her from the book & then decided to name their son Adam. I can't wait for your edition on Ben's three wives!

One thing I noticed when they ride up toward the camera in the opening credits - Doesn't happen every season, but it does happen relatively often. All four ride up to the camera with big smiles on their faces - but sometimes Dan (or maybe Hoss) tips his hat to the camera. I am wondering - was that Hoss, in character, or was it Dan, being a genuinely polite cowboy?
Also you will see Michael Landon do a cheesy smile and he actually says oh God because he hated the smile in opening credits. He hated it! He said it was stupid. When watching Roberts he's like "this is me take it or leave it"..lol
I always feel a bit disappointed in that the episode Maria my Love didn’t show the birth of Little Joe and Adam and Hoss as children.

In the episode "The Hopefuls", Adam and Hoss come upon the body of Sam Bord's accomplice. Adam has a horseshoe tucked in his belt. Later they find the same horseshoe on the trail and Adam tucks it into his belt. The first scene showed that he had a horseshoe that he hadn't found yet. Rhat being said, i love your videos and the work you do. Bonanza is my favorite show next to Star Trek.

Hey you forgot the one where during a swimming scene, Roberts is seen running without his hairpiece! Season 5 or 6. Thing was I remember seeing that when it originally aired (on our Magnavox black and white TV set.) We all saw it and yelled at the TV like a greek chorus!! (Did you see that??!!) Can't believe it that wasn't caught by the editors back then. To see Pernell bald was a big surprise!

(I remember one continuing error when after drinking his (Adam ?) beer the glas remainder full to the rim, wishing I could remember the episode)
That was probably " The Crucible" - right at the beginning - when they're ( Adam and Joe) discussing 'what to do now' after delivering the cattle to the town. Joe decides to stay in the town and watch a murder trial, and Adam decides to head out - do some hunting - and to meet Joe a few days hence. When Adam doesn't show at the appointed place at the appointed time, Joe figures something is VERY wrong.

@@2missteriJust trying to remember the episodes where Adam was drinking beer !! Would it be 'Broken Balled' with Robert Culp as the guest star ? The 'unwanted' ( by the shop owner who still believes the man shot his son, years before ) - the 'new resident' of the area ?

Eu queria ver a Temporada 14 os sinais dos filmes que eu não vi nenhum eu tinha me casado de fazer em 70 aí fiquei sem televisão fui para a roça hoje eu tenho 72 anos Mas lembro muito bem do seriado porque eu morei em São Paulo na casa do meu professor que eu fui criada com televisão tanto eu como patrão todo mundo largava o serviço foi assistir Bonanza que era um exemplo de família de pai né foi pai mãe e os cartório já era em primeiro lugar ada vós e o velho Card atores que foram maravilhosas Eu gostaria de viver do TH-cam as últimas séries que eu assisti até daí para frente eu não assisti mais que eu casei e fui morar no lugar que não tinha televisão
