Thank you. Heat waves are so horrible when you live in a van and then we get whiny. Or at leat I get whiny. Joni is always a cool as a cucumber, what a great travel companion! 🥰 -Sara
Some people, like Nomadic Fanatic, will tell you that you do not need to rinse tanks every time. Joni, also, I will say you do not need a fan. I rinse three times every time I dump, and it is not a cassette toilet. But thoroughly rinsing seems to be critical. Our old fan was stinky but it was a new experience for us. Now, in the second van, diligent, thorough rinse three time has been flawless just trying to contribute and be he. 😊That said, Joni is a Handyman Genius!!!
I'm constantly impressed by how good your van is! I have a Winnebago Revel, which I think is quite a bit more pricey than an Adria Twin, and what happens when you remove the hinges from a window on the Revel? The window falls out 😂 Just one small thing of course, but a hundred small things add up. For example, our toilet doesn't have a fan, there's a vent but it somehow vents *into the van* when you drive and the toilet is full! 💩 I mean, I like my Revel, but if I had discovered your channel before I bought it, I would have looked into potentially importing an Adria Twin to US instead.
I have heard rumours about US build quality in vans and motorhomes, here in Europe 90% them are solid and hardly any problems. Driving with poop smell thats not right. I think you cannot import Fiat Ducato as it is to USA or Canada because of regulations. It would be nice to see Adria coming to your market, i dont know why any of the European brands has entered there beside Hymer.
@@Vantasticvan rumors are true, here RVs are notorious for terrible build quality. Many Revel vans have plumbing leaks and alternator charging issues within weeks of getting on the road. Mine had both in the first 3 months, and you pretty much have to fix it yourself -- Winnebago would book repairs for 6 months ahead, take the van for weeks, and then do a terrible job that would break again. Funny how there's no regulations for *that* 😂
Now we ordered two fans. Usually we do not want to own any extra parts because spare parts are so easy to find all around Europe. But it seems old computer fans are not easy to find.
Joni, you have a big fridge. If you plan to spend more hot summers in Greece or Italy, or Spain, use at least 2 fans, (I have 4). One at the lower opening sucking air to the fridge and one in the upper opening pushing air away of the van. This way you create a continous stream of air and the fridge works like a charm. Hope this helps. Wish you a wonderful time
Mostly we just use Google Maps satellite view, All Trails hiking app (trailhead parkings) and of course Park4Night app too (We prefer tree and yellow 4×4 symbols over blue P symbols)
Nice vlog, I am planning to go to Greece by camper and I travel alone. Are you maybe Finnish? I hear a Finnish accent when you speak English.I have been living in Finland for more then 10 years now, but I am from Belgium and my vlogs are in Dutch/Flemish language. Kiitos tästä videosta :-)
Since Joni is so handy, I have to ask one thing. My motorhome windows have cracked, perhaps due to strong soap. Is it possible to just buy the plastic window? Not with the frame?
I can no longer tolerate heat like you are experiencing. Haha... when I spent a lot of time outdoors and relieved myself there, I often thought of bears. 🐻
No-one can can tolerate these temperatures, eveything over 40 degrees is just inhuman and dangerous. Bears are majestetic creatures and they poop in the forest too.
Almost "when the shit hits the fan". You tackle challenges in an exemplary way. I went crazy when I was going to install wifi in the motorhome and couldn't do it. Had to call my son. Embarrassing!

Thanks! This episode made Katie laugh a lot. Always love watching you guys.
🤣😆 Thank you ❤️
Joni is a Renaissance Man! Making decisions, fixing the van, taming horses and keeping a bright smile on Sarah's face! 🫡🚚

Thank you so much for helping that horse. You guys are great and I have loved watching you for at least 4 years now. Be safe and thanks again. 💞
Aww thanks for your kind comment and thanks for watching out videos for years 🥰

It would be nice to also experience the bigger tanks that you have there in US, it has its benefits for sure!
Great video, it’s really hot for you, here in Swe it’s between 15-20 degrees a lots of rain.
Now it has been cloudy couple of days and 25c. Feels really cold and Sara is using wool socks. 😆

Always best with a composting toilet to carry a spare fan. Quiet, good quality ones preferable 🙂

Now its easy to add more fans because we have the wiring already there.

Really depends on manufacturer. Google lens is your friend, use that.

Joni has been technician in the past, so problem solving is in his blood. 👌
Moi.

Add fly net over the pipe
There is fly net, but its after the fan. :)
The heat and humidity eats electric things. 7 Euro well worth to escape the city fast and find cooler, calmer place.
Seven euros is a small price to pay to escape the heat, but it feels alot when your daily budget is only 15e
