Straight to the battery, but you have to turn them on and off with the app (or remote) and if you’re not driving the car for a while you can just unplug the 1 connector off the battery and they won’t have any power. As far as longevity, I killed the first pair really fast dirt dropping and bottoming out the frame rail lol. Replaced them with the same kit and they’ve been strong for a year or so! No complaints 🙌🏼
I have the Temu app and i just looked for underglow for cars and it brings all kinds of them. Then is just looked for the cheapest one. It has no link option sorry
Hey man I’ve got a z just like yours that I daily and do occasional drift events and I’m so glad I stumbled upon this channel you are great behind the camera and I think if you stick to it you will gain a great following!
You’re putting under glow on your car if you’re worried about decreasing value probably not the mod for you 😂 it comes with double sided tape if you only want to use that but the screws help hold it in and last much longer.
@@franklinfocus Simple bro, you got it! Feel free to DM me on IG if you have questions, but honestly the instructions are simple even if they are written in Engrish lol
@@tonycrispin unless you use the 12v cigarette port right. Because I have a hybrid so my battery is in my truck so it’s harder to set up. So just have to to use a cigarette port and hiding some wire is alot easier
I eventually broke one of the strips flying off track at a drift event, but I bought another set and they’re on the car doing great! For the price it’s hard to beat!
@@tonycrispin oh hell yeah dude imma get 2 sets for maximum coverage and see if i can't splice em tg. oh and have you tried the app that it says it comes with? great video btw 🤙
@@tonycrispin i just bought two kits and i'm gonna see if i can splice them together to one controller so i have more coverage/brightness. any words of advice? edit: it looks like that, from the app, you can actually control multiple kits at once. i may try that instead, and wire both controllers to one cigarette lighter port.
@@tonycrispin update: i ended up only installing one kit. i made custom brackets to hide the individual LEDs so that only the glowing effect is present. it looks super old school and i love it! it looks just like how the neon tubes looked in the golden tuner era. i posted about it on my instagram if you're curious. thanks for the great review!
@@raul19979 bro I just finished the night track day! They worked great until I flew off track and tore one in half but that was my own fault lol! Even now half of them still work great. Hahaha worth the $22
Hi just wondering. does it not kill off the battery
Did you connect this directly into the battery? Or a wire that is only active when the ignition is on? How long did they work for?

I have a Infiniti g35x
I got this same under glow
Imma try put in in the grill
Nice! I’m sure that will look good!
Thanks for the review I found the same ones on Sheen for 13$ and some change. I can’t wait to get them on my eclipse!
That’s even cheaper! Great find 👍🏼
Link?!
@@rossontheplay4758 it’s in the video description!
@@tonycrispin I found the ones you posted! I was wondering where this person found the 13$ ones lol

Bro the beard is way better than the mustache alone !! lol
You think so? I thought it was time for a new look. Haha
I had a set like that and driving in the wet will mess them up
I’ll keep that in mind, hopefully mine hold up haha
Spice up the Z 😆. Great video ! Also when you first said “Jack up the car “ I was like 🤔 but then realized what you really meant haha
🤣
Where did you get the brackets or did it come with them
The brackets came with it! Real handy
@@tonycrispin oh that's dope thank you man just ordered me some

I agree ! 1000%
u used the short ones on the sides, supposed to be front and rear
You’re totally right, after I installed it I realized that 😅 good eye lol
@@tonycrispin but still looks cool, can't make out at the night. but if u have option to switch them then go for it 😃
almost 1 year after did it last...
I’m confident it would have, but I went off track at a Drift Event and tore one of the LED strips in half 😅
Just to double check you just used a drill to put the nails in? Don’t wanna mess my car up or decrease value 😂

I’m still not understanding how the strips get their power and how to hook it up.
They’re all wired together and you just run the wires to the battery or your power outlet in the car
@@tonycrispinhow
Does it hook up to the battery for power???
Yep you run it off the battery or any 12v power source, really simple to wire up
@@tonycrispin I have to look in to it for sure, I’ve never messed with wiring in a car but I want it so bad 🤩🤣

@@loganburnette3421 good alternative! That makes perfect sense!
How did you hook up the power
To the battery and ground
how are they holding up?

I don’t know! I broke them a week later after sending my car off track at a drift event. Lol! They don’t hold up to board slides of jumps 🤣
